well wot about 1 lvl 10 central gun(as NO fighter is a LF but has 3 lvl 10 slots and its near imposable to take down another player fighter.) and a CD. make it fast and agile but not enough fire power to take a VHF shield down so it can fire a CODE like 2 to 4 times before you have no energy left.

I always loved this ship, but I had to sell it because at the time it was more or less useless for my mercenary character. I've always been a fan of interceptors, and felt that this one just didn't live up to the title. All of the points made before now are completely correct, it's underpowered and nowhere near as fast as it should be.

That being said, I agree that this class of fighter should be expanded, I would love to see more around, but at the same time, there needs to be limitations. I would hate to see factions using packs of interceptors to completely decimate a single transport/freighter. (well, if they were pirates it might make sense). But what I'm worrying about is the possibility of a faction spamming them and using their speed and agility to the point of making things unfair.

wot i said about single lvl 10 weapon. how about a fwd gun like a lib GB or some thing powerful and only shoot fwd and uses loads of energy so can be fire 2 times or sothing. or give a single torp slot and a CD slot.(then it could have a nova or razor on it:P)

It's current weapon set-up is perfect if the speed is increased to compensate. It won't be able to match VHFs in pure power, so they will continue to be used. Much as the LFs are often ignored for lack of power. The Arrow was one less weapon than the MKII LFs, which would balance any added speed to begin with.

EDIT: and it still can't kill anything gunboat sized or larger. It takes 2 debilitators and one other gun just to budge the shield.

But can you imagine how hard it is going to be to hit this thing?

It's just going to get annoying when it's the last ship left and keeps legally shield-running everywhere,
but it doesn't have enough firepower to do anything useful.

If it had no CM, I would be 100% behind it. As it stands I already get annoyed with LF's.

Having a VLF (very light fighter?) is going to make Locke something something...
