Ok, you have made your point. :rtfm: It still sucks big time, but I suppose I have to live with it. Damn, I should have picked a life of crime, one of the "unlawful" careers then I wouldn't have these problems.
Suppose being honest always gets you shafted, just like real life. :(
Maybe I will have better luck if I play an evil, lawbreaking scumbag then.
I guess you wouldn't have any questions if you just try to think of the laws as real ones. Then they make perfect sence. I bet you wouldn't complain when some navy ship blew up your ship in 18th century while you were sailing under Happy Roger flag.
Or be blown up by Nazis while sailing under USSR flag in WW2.
It's a war.

Get a smuggler...
When you RP it right by flaying around LNS patrols or something,
it can be rather funny at times.
All pirate build ships are banned for obviouce reasons,
To put a hold or adleast minimize the chances of smuggling and piracy.
ALG has a special licence and contract with Liberty and Rheinland that they are allowed with only one ship to stay away from confusion, and possible embargo runners can be found easier.
And those ship bans ain't rules but laws.
You can face RP consequenses in game.
But really take some advice,
Don't expect to much of some things.
Although from pirates expect the worst and it will always turn out better;)
But really if you wanna see Sirius go get a smuggler or zoner transport.
Dude, it's an RP server, so you will have to act according to the RP of the areas you are acting within, including house laws. Limit yourself to a two-house route and it will be less stuff to consider.

Beside the fact that Rheinland=Nazis is completely wrong and retarded, it would be "mein Fuehrer".

BUT - newbie, if you want to mine, get a small mining ship (spatial, maffic, etc), 2 freelancer id'd friends in bwt's and go mine, while they haul for you.
that's the teamwork mining concept, as opposed to the failing 'I mine it, store it, move it and sell it alone.' one.

Great for when you can all guarantee to meet up at the same times, but a piddly little fighter is no good when you are on alone for a couple of hours, while a transport is useful all the time.
Nahh, what with having to put up with the crap to get the mining bonus as well, I am just getting too disallusioned.
I think I'll become an evil scumbag who smuggles slaves and shoot the crap out of anyone who comes close enough to see me.

well, it's your call, but ill give you another tip anyway.
get Freelancer Account Manager. get Freelancer Account ID Generator - search them on the forum, surely you will find them. get skype, make a mining chat room or something, get a few people in there, make 5 FL MP ID accounts, on those accounts, make the followwing - 1 ship per account.
2 mining shf's
3 transports
share the accounts with the people in the chat. when you get online, ask if anyone wants to do some mining, and when 2 say fine, just pick which ships you want to use and go mine. simple as that. alternatively, join a mining faction, they would have this stuf sorted out already.
