Situation Report - SFBS-MAGNIFICENT
Performed routine patrols in Cambridge, encountered fighting between GalEx and the Nayehiya. Upon SF intervention the fighting ceased but not before a GalEx ship was destroyed. Nayehiya claimed they were attacked despite not engaging in pirate activities within Bretonia. Given repeated reports, the Nayehiya are to be watched while within Bretonian space particularly with traders in the same system. The Nayehiya do have one quality that comes to our advantage, they're about as fond of the Corsairs as we are. Upon sighting a corsair gunboat the Nayehiya engaged said vessel and persued it into Omega-5.
Returning to the planet, the Magnificent was quickly joined by two known pirates Troll and Rogue63. Trying to provoke a response by calling the Magnificent a rust bucket, they quickly found the ship still to be quite capable. The Troll dragon gunboat was disabled (death), while the Rogue63 fighter withdrew from the area having its shields removed several times. Upon recovering engine power, both vessels made their way to New London, thus a threat warning was sent ahead.
Situation Report - SFB-BETA1
Received reports of numerous pirates active in New London. Encountered an [RoS] fighter as well as the Troll and Rogue63 pair. Engaging separately, the [RoS] fighter engaged first (I think he was first, lol:unsure:). Armed with torps, the fighter was skillful at their application and managed to severally damage my ship removing the majority of its weapons; however, the final torp meant to finish me off backfired and instead destroyed the attacking craft. The pilot was rescued by a passing corsair patrol before he could be captured by local police forces.
Having to ditch the bomber due to its severe damage, a second one was sent out to deal with the continued threats. Next came Rogue63. Again armed with torps they were effective at removing my shield but he wasn't able to get one into the hull. The skilled fighter was succesfully destroyed and rescued by his counterpart, who decided to have a go (2nd time but meh I was up for it:cool:). The dragon gunboat's guns were sufficent to do damage to my craft, but my manuverability gave it an advantage over the gunboat's turrets. The gunboat was sucessfully disabled again (death) but managed to drift to a nearby tradelane to escape the area.
The last pirate encounter occured at the Southampton Shipyards, a Liberty Rogue gunboat named Joseclin (sp?). The vessel opened fire on my ship, but quickly realized it should of thought twice. Dodging fire, my bomber was effective at removing the gunboat's shields and damaged the target's hull. Out of repair bots, the gunboat eliminated some of the local police forces allowing him to activate his cruise engine. Without a CD, the vessel escaped towards Trafalgar licking its wounds.
With the threats in New London eliminated or withdrawn, I returned to New London to review the repair schedule for the other bomber.
OOC: Good fights on all of them. The torp backfire was an ironic end to a very close fight. The only other thing to say is that if the ships teamed up while in New London the result would of been very different for BETA1.
ADDITIONAL:
[NLH] being gaian alligned are declared hostile (matching their rep to us as well). And [RoS] being corsair alligned are declared hostile as well. (No real surprises).
Situation Report - SFF-GRYPHON
Routine patrols in Tau-31, encountered Kusari convoy bound for Edinburgh and engaged. 2 container transports and a kusari gunboat flying escort. I was able to take one transports shields and damage its hull, but with plenty of bots and the fire of three ships my fighter succumbed to the gunboat. A passing BAF patrol rescued me before I could be captured by the KNF.
Situation Report - SFGB-RELENTLESS
Intercepted communications that a KNF convoy was inbound. Engaged the convoy in Dublin outside the Edinburgh jumphole. Targeting the weakened transport, it still had an ample supply of batts and bots making the job difficult. Train cruise disruptor appeared to be effective being able to stop the transport on its original escape attempt. The target was successfully destroyed and dropped of all things an armor upgrade (keep an eye on that hold, unlike myself others will take that with no concern). With one transport destroyed and taking fire from the gunboat and 2 more, I proceeded to withdraw from the area. The convoy giving chase. Not having sufficient firepower to finish my ship effectively, the convoy was "relieved" to have a corsair gunboat called Spirt_Evil join them. With no bots and batts, the corsair like any cowardly leech engaged my already weakened ship and forced us to abandon ship. Over the escape pod's comms, we heard the KNF thank the Corsair for his help in passing by. A warrant has been issued for the corsair. And their apparent goodwill between the KNF and the Corsairs leaves something to be desired.
On an adminstrative note, the Mandalorian Merc's have decided on a contract similar to the one made with the SSO. The contract allows them to be paid for kills on SF hostiles in Bretonian space (Dublin, Edinburgh, Leeds, Cambridge, New London, Manchester, Newcastle) as well as be paid for kills made in bordering systems in the defense of bretonian trading ships (Tau-31, Magellan, Omega-3, Omega-7, Omega-5, Omega-41, Dundee). For payment, ships will need to contact Admiral Firebird or may contact SFT vessels present on the server. Sufficient proof of where and the circumstances of the kill are required for reference. (ie. a screenshot in the message dump, also please do not pester everyone that bears an SF tag for payment since only my characters and those bearing SFT will know).

Upon moving from New London to Cambridge, Grinch_1 was seen pirating a Repex transport. Because this is a non-combat vessel, we sent a comm transmission to other combat ships in the area to secure Cambridge. Sierra was dispatched, but was too late to arrive in system before a Repex ship was destroyed. Upon arrival, however, Grinch_1 fled to Omega-5.
Please place Grinch_1 on the wanted list.

This is UOG Command. we are hereby revoking the ceasefire. We have been starving ourselves in the name of a war which never comes, and still the corsairs come for us.
We will not openly engage the Sirius Federation unless engaged first, or they come into Dublin. We will still seek to drive back invading Kusari, Corsair, and Coalition forces from Bretonia.
But we will also resume our normal activities inside Bretonia.
*cough cough*
*snf*
Stay out of Dublin, and Londonderry if you wish to live another day.

I'm reminded of an image of a leprechaun wanting to defend a pot of gold but not spend a dime of it. The UOG sit on a gold mine and yet cannot buy their weight in supplies? You pirate not because you have to, but because you can't think of anything better and are short sighted. Kusari convoys pass through your system, loaded with supplies, supplies you could easily use, but instead of focussing your efforts on them you now want to get bogged down again fighting Bretonia. And to compound the short sightedness, Kusari continues to push into Leeds and you think that they won't proceed further into Dublin? They already have convoys running through your system, what makes you think they'll stop at Leeds.
The SF will continue to defend the citizens and trade routes through Bretonia. Against the Kusari, the Outcasts, the Corsairs, the Gaians, the Lane Hackers, the Nomads, and if necessary you.

Battleship Sierra encountered 5 HF ships, and one Lane Hackers destroyer in Leeds today. After a short fight, the destroyer was almost destroyed, but emergency field repairs were done (OOC: nanobots and shield batteries... I'll be sure to use some next time) and it regained full hull status and continued to attack the Sierra. Between the combined fire of the ships, Sierra was severely crippled and once again sent to Southampton for repairs.
The HF has released a declaration of full war against the Sirius Federation and are now attacking relentlessly across Bretonia. I suggest KoS status for any HF ships, along with Ultimate Warrior, who assisted the HF in this attack.

((OOC: What the **** was this? Within five minutes of my logging on, every single HF ship on the server decided that they needed to come attack me. I'm reminded of the days when Cambridge was attacked {and blown to smitherines} at least once a week with one or no SF ships on. If you guys want to attack, wait until there is a proper SF force so that it can actually be a viable battle. We all talk about a things being too PvPish, and this is a perfect demonstration of it. Ok, I'm done ranting.))

As it stands HF are currently on hostile status due to their previous attacks against our forces. I'm reluctant to declare them KOS since we are NOT active in their current war with the SA. We currently have our hands full with Kusari, Gaian, Corsair, and likely soon Molly attacks. It would be helpful if the HF had a reason for their attacks into Bretonia. They are lane hacker aligned and to my understanding there are no lane hackers at all who operate within Bretonian space but they appear to be attacking without provocation or cause like terrorists. Continue to defend against them if encountered in Bretonia and refrain from provoking them outside of our borders. I'm contemplating issuing a bounty for any of their vessels found in Bretonian space.

Is Manchester not Bretonian space? Do we not have prison ships there? They may not be as numerous as the Gaians, but Lane Hackers do indeed operate in Bretonian space, though their motives remain a mystery.
I've also seen the occasional Outcast in Manchester and Leeds, but those are rarely sighted in Bretonia. Wonder why...
I stand corrected on the lane hackers operating in Bretonia. Manchester has their troubles with them (NPCs). It still remains to be seen as to why the HF would be wanting to provoke another group into their current war.
As for the Outcasts, they are seen far more readily throughout Bretonia than the lane hackers. They're concern is their own safety and profit. Outcasts would likely aid us against the Kusari for their own benefit and just as quickly turn and hit a passing freighter to hijack the cargo. The Mollies are no different. The current war just puts them in a position where we have common enemies.

I've happen to run across a few news reports that your having issues with the Hellfire Legion. This is our fight and I'm sad to see their trying to drag you into it, but we're still not going to force you into the conflict. Instead I have a proposal, the SA has an agreement with out allies GalEX in which we'd like to use Cambridge research station as a strategic point for a escort wing. What the SF gain from this is assistance from the escort wing stationed in bretonia and assistance against Legion strike forces in Bretonia and it's borders. Please get back to me ASAP I've got paperwork piling up and want to get as much of my desk as possible.
