This thread is for feedback for the Bretonian Armed Forces player faction.
I wouldn't have thought that needed to be said.
But here we are huh?
Thank you
Seriously, you guys need to learn how to use those guns you have.
I should not be able to talk my way out of literally every situation, even when i straight out attack a privateer.
EDIT: I should probably explain more.
First off, while i love you guys coming in and stopping current combat, and interrogating mollies, you provide good rp, and i love gettting a chance to use my solid silver tongue, sometimes just letting me go isnt the right answer.
For instance, teh otehr day, i had straight out attacked a Bretonian Privateer (who frankly shouldnt have been there), and you guys came in and stopped it. Then we had a nice discussion about who did what, and even though four or five miners backed the privateer's story up, you still let me go.
Your like the opposite of a gank.
Even though im surrounded by a battleship, two destroyers, and several bombers, im completely safe.
Okay, so is the new thing for the BAF Shoot First and RP later?
BAF|Ens.Feya and BAF|Cdr.Lawrence.Miller 2 bombers let 3 Dessi and a fighter attack my 1 GB....
I though that Cap Ships should not be ganking that badly, you guys need to fi the way you deal with your independent cap ship, and control the way they enjoy to gank.
And you have to start to listen... I already told you that I was telling them to hold back. You know like everyone else does that indies like to disobey orders or they just don't want to listen. Don't blame us for that.
Actually it was your own fault, you started to run... The HMS pilots, of course, started to shoot you. And I? Well I was writing during that time. It's hard to control everything in that mess when everyone needs your help.
Next time listen to me and do what I told you. So this would have never happened. :nyam:
Well I don't know if IKN-Kaminari or IKN-Haruna would post here so I'll do it for them.
As usual the BAF is partially to blame and some HMS-All.Vs.One are the other part to blame too. I hope the said people will somehow read this.
Tonight I've seen a Kusarian battleship and destroyer 12k from Leeds or so, who went to chat. On the Bretonian side I've seen forces quickly gathering. At some point, while we were all nicely RPing around the Bretonian fleet moved with no less than 3 (or 4) battleships, 1 dessie and 2 molly destroyers, not mentioning the bombers etc coming along.
To be honest the mollies started it but the rest instantly followed, resulting in a poor display leadership of the officers in charge, and of fair play.
I had my share of shamefull fights before but at least the people we pwned asked for it somehow. What I've seen tonight, one the other hand, is the lowest level of lolwuttism I've ever seen in Bretonia. This is typically what I hate the most here, and my main grief against the phantoms for instance : you come for RP and you end up with a gank in your face.
This is of course to be discussed over skype but I think it's healthy to post this here too, just in case you go tl;dr in the first place.
Here are a few names I've noticed, and I don't had time to write them all down. I don't know either who actually engaged since I stood my position at Leeds
Well, i'm sure i can fall in here seems 2 of the Garda Leaders are formally BAF Lt. Commanders.
The [Garda]One got a call on the Emergancy Channels of Bretonia about KNF Destroyers and Battleships (Camping Planet Leeds) - This was the call..
The Garda [One] (Scylla) and The Garda [Punisher] (Gunboat) - Went out to see what was going on, very much alone.. -
After I arrived i called upon BAF and HMS Support as (Its the Queen's Territory not our own) but the Admirals allow us to work there prolonging its against KNF or Enemys of Bretonia.
Now.. Yes they came... *Laughs* Ohkay maybe they brought a super fleet ready to pawn anything that stands in their way!
After a few (Uncommanded Talks) The Garda constructed an idea to destroy and bail, easy job for us.. Daily duty. - Then The BAF Launched... All of the Bombers, 1 BS and 1 Destroyer, In the End the Garda shut down our weapons..
This is down to the Commander of the Sovereign who was in charge of the Fleets Battle..
Garda Shot 4 Mortars (One at the Trade Lane) - 3 at the Battleship then disengaged otherwise CD'd
The Commander of the Sovereign Battleship took Control from then forth.
----------- Out of my ranks to go further than this ---------------

LtCdr.Jason.Charles

I have to say, there is one thing to use superior force and even capital-ship support in the most ridiculous magnitude. I wouldn't care hadn't been for the fact that you actually signed this:
Yes, I posted especially because that "agreement" was "meant" to solve such issues.
Molly case: Excuse me, but the ceasefire appears and dissapears - and one day Molly ally with whoever they can, hug every battleship in Dublin and on the next someone screams about the end of diplomatic relations on system-wide channels.
Now I can ask for an excuse again. But BAF| members flying Molly ships with, eh Freelancer/Molly (I never managed to scan it, but since Garda collects bounties, it's something like that) ID, assisting BAF| - when in some other threads the issues that ceasefire lead the Molly factions to are actively discussed - that actually makes a lot of sense. I actively play my NLH characters around Bretonia and, eh, you're even worse then indie Battleships attacking double Claymores all the way across the sky.
I'm completely opposed to that kind of roleplay. I understand IAB) and undercovered IAB) that should exist - and I love when people roleplay undercovered agents - it's always a pleasure to meet one;
but this case is ridiculous.
Concerning the BAF| ships I ran into lately - please, control your indies, don't let them strike people around with totally overwhelming force. I understand the issue with indy pirates of Indians kind, but I actually can't understand such approach towards official factions with the strict leadership that is interested in fair games and fair fights.

You may continue your behaviour as you wish, no problems for me.
But don't sign something you can't follow. At the very least, have the honour remove your name from the list if you don't plan to adhere to it.
Well I learned about this pact an hour ago actually (sigh), but I agree with the content. Overall our recent encounter with Kusari were roughly satisfying in my sense (meaning, not too bad compared to Dublin), mostly because we usually fight in Leeds (and not in Dublin).
What happened tonight, on the other hand, is clearly a infrigment to these guidelines, is inacceptable, and is being discussed currently.
