Wow, I thought that navy can carry large quantities of it. I just do not know where would they go with it since a navy vessel in a foreign house won't end well.
Aside from that, let Ageira have their monopoly pls, as the gate / lane parts are really their tools of the trade.
I remember the time when we bought licenses from Ageira as Kishiro.
I also remember the Ageira often switching leadership.
I don't remember the insults on Kusari tho.
But I do remember that every leader who came after Ageira disbanded had TONS OF PROBLEMS on their hands because of what ex ageira left em.
So I'll write it all off to frustration i guess.
Good luck Ageira, may your business never fall because piracy is much more simpler when traders go trough marked checkpoints:D

It's not a mistake.

As long as they relinquish the parts to us immediately, the Navy can move them around. If they're willing to help us enforce the monopoly, we're not going to blow them out of the sky for no reason.:PNote that 'Moving them around' assumes they killed someone with them, and are taking them to Pueblo or something.
As for insulting Kusari, I don't think Kogen likes our attitude. :$

That's a good question.
I've never really thought too much into it, as I know the devs have probably got something planned that completely betrays anything I say. Is usually the case.
But it's safe to assume rather expensive.
You could build a fleet... Or a network of Tradelanes.
Jumpgates would be exponentially more expensive.

It most certainly isn't. It is accepted lore, that being the largest shipping company in Liberty, Universal has a contract to ship G/L Parts from Ageira factories to DSE construction sites.
However, the [*USI*] faction has not negotiated a deal with us to carry Parts.
The price of a trade lane is a good question, also one I've never considered. The components cost millions of credits alone, but another expensive part would likely be the extensive process of networking the rings and alligning them correctly. This is precisely the reason why everyone needs Interspace Commerce to insure trade lane networks, lend them money and so on.
There are few rumors abounding on the price of gates and trade lanes.
I am sure that I saw one a while ago that used the term "trillion credit gate".
I have been looking lately and can only find the term "couple of hundred million credits".
Still looking for more info though.
I approve of the message in the OP.
By all means fight for your monopoly with all your might, I am sure Ageira would do just that.
Be careful about killing people carrying them yourselves as political backlash could result.
But definately inform the Liberty Government and it is a great reason to bounty someone.
Good job all up.
The idea that IC still insures all tradelanes can be debated but that sounds like a discussion for another time.

IC insures all Liberty and Bretonian gates, and those two houses are more than likely still paying off the debt incurred by their construction.
Kusari and Rheinland nationalized their gates, so IC's got nothing to do with them, aside from still having access to the USI system.

Liberty would have got most of it's network for 'free' when they were originally built.
Bretonia is somewhat of an enigma, there's no mention of them buying the lanes, but we can assume they did.
And IC has -everything- to do with the lanes in other houses, the USI system has very little to do with them. Each lane/gate is imbedded with a scanner that checks cargo and ship ID. Pretty much every (huge) company in Sirius is insured by IC, and IC uses this system to track it's insured cargo.
The USI itself is more the scanner tech each ship possesses, and while the Gatelanes do use is, that's as far as it goes.
<span style="font-size:18pt;line-height:100%]BUMP Some slight changes have been made since this was originally posted.
Please familiarise yourself with the details.
It's not our problem if you're not aware of them and we catch you.
Quote: A further clarification:
For all ships, carrying Gate/Lane Parts is not a sanctionable offence - you cannot and will not be punished by Admins for carrying it. Please keep in mind this is an ooRP post explaining Ageira's RP stance on the trading of Parts.
This should go at the beginning of the post, not at the end
