I will not get out of the RM feedback thread because this is your problem.
The RM is obviously employing Freelancers to do the dirty work for them, which is fine, as long as you pay for that dirty work.
You don't pay - you don't get the fruit.
So, you can either start paying, or you can stop employing said freelancers.
And since you realized you should extend the bounty, I guess the problem will be solved with that.
Quote:I am almost positive mercs and freelancers can do that with a bounty.
There's no bounty.
I am trying to prove that his act is 'harsher' then the ones of RM or RFP, even though he's acting as those.
He's killing people for free for god sake.

I think I'll stay, as what is being discussed is indeed about the RM.
The RM as an official faction is allowing a player to break server rules and is also supporting it. That reflects negatively on the RM. I'd like to know what the RM is going to do about it. As I know the leadership of the RM understand the rules, so you all know he is breaking them by looking at his actions. You might not have thought anything of it at the time because it is actually valid RP. Doesn't mean it is valid per the rule set.
And if you want to go the route that it is okay to break the rules because the RP makes sense, I'll point that for that to happen all parties involved must agree to it. Not just one side. Otherwise what is the point in having rules?
I would just like to chip in here a bit too. Some of this should probably go through to the RFP as well.
I've been a bit concerned with the way the authorities are policing Rheinland of late. I haven't been personally involved in any cases, but what I've read has basically ensured I stay out of Rheinland if the server population is above 60.
The things I've read are chopper's case, smugglers getting an FR5 after being screenshot by a freelancer with no indication that the fl is in a position of authority or demand to stop or give up the cargo and other similar things. Also, my friend flying through when was hailed by the RFP to ask what his business was on PM when he was completely out of sight of any other vessels. He had also entered through a jump hole and hadn't taken a single lane yet (so no lane scans were possible) and had yet to come across a player vessel in Rheinland.
In-RP, I understand the tightening of the net. But gameplay wise, I just don't want to come to Rheinland anymore except as a lawful trader. I feel like if I miss one forum post and pick up the wrong cargo I either won't be allowed back or will get blasted, possibly by some ship that would give no indication of why. Even more so for any Junker characters (although the restrictions on them were definitely RPly justified).
I understand that the RFP, RM etc. can't provide 24 hr surveillance. But it is those holes in surveillance and the attempts to find them that make illicit (but not outright unlawful) characters both fun and possible to play. I think, if the net get too tight people will just stop coming except to trade legit goods. Victory for the RM and RFP yes, but might make life oorp a bit boring.
Basic suggestions for improvement, well still getting your enforcement:
Make sure your hirelings are within server rules.
Make sure they clearly state what is going on when they stop a vessel. If they're hired to police they should do so, not just silently take the information and pass it on nor open fire straightaway.
Really, a vessel you haven't seen or scanned doesn't exist as far as your character knows. Even assuming you had some sort of long-range scanners (player list) it would be pretty confused if it included all vessels (NPC traffic).
Also in the screenshot with Phaedra, the hirelings can't just make up false accusations (if indeed Phaedra had not been caught before and that ship wasn't just trying to cover itself off) to justify harsh action. That there is powergaming, and this should be addressed. RP on the fly and improvise of course, just make it fun for both sides.
Apologies for the long rant. I hope it is at least somewhat constructive because I do like both Rheinland and the RM.
Finally, I do want to add that the interactions I've had with the RM directly have always been excellent, flying with or against you.
He was indeed given permit to confiscate military vehicles anywhere within Rheinland from illegal shipping agents.
Why he destroyed you after the process is however, beyond me. He was hired to confiscate the military vehicles and use force only if necessary. I suggest clearing that part up with him personally, as he's not an RM member.

Looks legit then. I do think you need to step back and understand that not everyone who comes here is the victim. I'm not the smuggler in question and Chopper says he isn't. Chopper brought up a valid point and he was met with a 'You QQ cuz you got shot at leave now' retort. Do try to lose that attitude.
Anyways, looks like smuggling in Rheinland could be some fun. Cheerio.

A) Please look harder, as you missed the criminal database reform enacted due to that case.
B) This is the [RM] feedback thread, not the Rheinland lawful feedback thread.

Thank you for your response.
You might want to add that little thing to your bounty thread just for easier access.

True, not me. I just noticed that and raised a question.

C) Thank you for your feedback.
A) So I did. Well considered and implemented. Apologies on this.
B) I am aware. My feedback was rather all-encompassing I know. However, I do believe it is the RM that hired the freelancers (and as such has some limited responsibility for them here oorp, and much more inRP). Also, I assumed you are in communication with other official Rheinland lawfuls and as the most active group have the ability to set a general tone. The point about the RFP was more just to show an overall trend rather than aimed at anyone.
C) Thank you for the consideration, I know you guys have a lot to deal with and overall are doing well.

Well, I guess we still didn't settle this little issue.
It seems you only payed for the Bundschuh to that guy, and not for the transport which carried MV's.
Why is that so? You claim there is a bounty, and you bring up some thread (which isn't in a bounty section) as evidence, and then you -still- don't pay for a claimed bounty.
Also, I was told that the Freelancer who posted #210 didn't even want the money, which makes it even more weird.
Unless I'm missing something, in which case I apologize in advance.

Thank you for being so overly concerned about our bounty board.
I assume it's an oversight you pointed out, as you surely can see someone else has been paying the bounties so far and not razr. I also assume he has not been fully aware of the details of our contract with Spire.
I'll instruct him to pay the Freelancer, I can assure you that there's no unorthodox gaming or freemason conspiracy to uncover here.
If he didn't want the money... it's not our fault either?
