Ahh..the plot thickens!

This tactic certainly has a counterplay. It's called "don't go 1v1 against a jumping BS." And again, if it's truly just a 1v1, then you can go and resupply once he jumps away. And then call in for help so that next time he shows up...you DO kill him. Ta daa!
