I want to thank you for opening up negotiations for the new year's contract. And while your terms are most agreeable, I don;t feel that they are generous enough for the hard working pilots of your organization. Therefore, I'm offering the following payments that are a bit more than your offer...
Monthly fee for FL-ER to service the Solitaire Metropolis base with supplies: 10 mill credits payable at the end of the month
Now before you ask, no... I have not lost my mind by desiring to pay an additional premium for the goods and services that FL-ER will be providing. The fact is that Jimmy and I had a "special arrangement" with some additional "benefits". I believe that he absorbed some of the additional delivery costs himself just so he could justify stopping at the base on a regular basis. Prior to his recent disappearance, he may not have spoken of this to you (or any of the other members of your staff).
I also personally believe that if your going to be purchasing a premium product with a reputation for quality and reliability, you'll have to pay for it. Your organization has built up a reputation for timeliness of deliveries that is hard to match, so I will not mind spending a few extra credits for your continued support.
Lastly, as much as I hate to say it, Rhineland space has become more and more dangerous in the last few months. While both the Polizei and Military are welcome and even encouraged to visit Solitaire Metropolis, we have seen their occasional visits cease all together. Piracy in Stuttgart is on the rise, with transport pilots and miners being extorted by both "Freedom Fighters" and criminals more often than not. So to pay a little extra should encourage pilots to see the risks and being worth the rewards.
I would also like to add that while we do not keep large reserves of valuable ores in our storage silos, the members of FL-ER are more than welcome to buy wherever we have on hand so their outbound flights are not with empty cargo holds.
I eagerly await your reply -
Lorelii
Note: If for some reason you hear from Jimmy, tell him that I miss him...
