I'll keep RPing like I said I would for now, but if you truly dont care, and arnt just tired or something, I guess Ill escape and find someone who does care.
Just because you asked and I'm fool enough to respond.
Sometimes, very very rarely, someone on this server accidentally enters the realm of what I consider to be roleplaying. This is a holdover from earlier generations of gaming on my part and something I've long since set aside on this server. Discovery is an arcade game where an attitude of self important entitlement is allowed to foster and, in many ways, isn't to be discouraged.
You find yourself in a compromising situation. You hit respawn. Cool beans. Getting exploded by lag or broken aiming mechanics is a bitch and an unfortunate way to end a story.
My comment about impatience stems from your lack of desire to move away from the Discovery mindset of instant gratification and external validation when placed in a situation that you invited. A situation you invited under the guise of welcoming just such a compromising position, for good or ill, in the hopes of being able to craft something more meaningful than the undock ho ho respawn exchange.
When you got your wish it didn't turn out to be the crest of the attention wave you feel you richly deserve, which resulted in the above and everyone involved being rather annoyed with you. Invitations such as the one extended in the OP demand a certain ability to freely let go of your character. If you find yourself languishing in a cell it needs to be ok that he sit there for a few days, weeks or even months until the next step presents itself. Saying "well if no one is going to rub my back and tell me how cool I am for doing this then balls to you I'm escaping el oh el" is going to earn you nothing more than the ire you so richly deserve.
Frankly I'm surprised anyone is giving you the time of day, given that the first time you did this was to rip people off like a scumbag.
So. Yeah. Impatience. Stray away from it. Dude A is going to be eating bread and water for a bit. Or you can meta escape to see if someone else out there will hold your hand and tell you how brave what you're doing is. Or you can have another guy on the burner to play with until such a time comes that you can issue an appeal, or maybe the persons holding you have a moment to look away from what -they- are doing to entertain -themselves- to pay attention to you.
Afterall. You're pushing your system onto theirs. A modicum of patience is to be expected.
