' Wrote:=BSG= is [CR], nothing changed about the faction except the tag-not even its leader. As soon as the shorthand TV tag appeared on our names two things happened. 1) we got a lot of members, 2) old hand server veterans started complaining.
If I say that the size of your ego is stunning, you'll say I'm flaming you. If I ask you are you just roleplaying a 'religious fanatic' or is your vision really that narrow, you'll think I'm flaming.
Now, with that put aside, I'm glad you have so many members.
the 'veterans' were not satisfied with the lot of buggy ships much before CR/BSG came here
Your ego really shows up on that list
To support my nr. 2: do a search, read a little on the discussions, the battlestars were always questioned and were causing more problems than they're worth. The Vipers as well. Same for most of the imported ships. The design of the ships, however good (I like it personally, don't get me wrong) doesn't fit the Freelancer universe. Same goes for the Raven and that lot. Same goes for the lot of the Star Wars battleships and most of the Homeworld ones (some are resembling but still lack something).
I ask why are you so much against evolving of the original designs but you so fiercely want the BSG ones? Why not be original, be different from the lot and have something special?
You still haven't answered why are you trying to make this another BSG Total Conversion Mod?
If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God? - from 'Nightfall' by I. Asimov The Outcasts consider Siniestre Nube a sacred place for several reasons. Early explorers discovered a jumphole within the depths of the cloud that leads to a strange world of ringed stars and strange craft. All ships in the burrial ground are placed facing that hole to honor the Alien Spirits. - An Outcast rumor
