Well Piracy is fine now with big ore shipments the trader must be crazy to do it alone without escorts or without other trader at least.Cargo Piracy is harder as give me $$ or die! But it is essential for a good pirate to know the value of the traders goods.I have simple rule when the trader acts normal and stops after the line drop and first CD I tax him around 10% if he try to run and I need to CD him twice and he starts using CM it is 25% If he don't want to talk much or he don't talk at all 50%.If he start shooting or try to ignore my request or start crying for help I just destroy him. The only problem in piracy is because the trader can tell you I prefer to die rather to pay and wait to be killed, that's why when transport class ship dies the repairs must be around 5 % of the ship sell value for example new train 180 mill ,sell value second-hand NPC dealer 90 mill 5 % of it make 4,5 mill so it is not nice to die lose cargo and pay 4,5 mill in order to repair the ship after that.I am sure that this can be implemented somehow.;)It will make traders more hmm careful. So more escorts will be hired and people will be able to RP as insurance company.
this was my 0.02c
