Not being there, but 2 of those pilots taking part were new guys. You would have shredded them to bits within minutes:)I know how dangerous you in the Abschnitt can be. Maybe it's a bit of overkill, but personally to my experience I think 3 ships vs Abschnitt caliber is quite fair game and the outcome is not even certain. Throw in the 4th and the chances are much better. But that's my experience of bringing down Wilde GBs.
And no, the mentality you fear, does not permeate the RHA to my knowledge. We are breaking in lotsa new guys and it takes time to gain the experience of the concept "fair and fun for all". RHA has not turned into a ganko squad (except if we catch you guys in o-54;)) and even if there are sometimes overkills, it's good to get feedback on them.
