Updating proposal

First of all, Zukeenee is right, player RP =/= Disco cannon or lore even. Technically it may be best referred to as dogma, but now I am discussing semantics.

So, as for doing the writing that would be a decent amount of work as we would have to take submissions, evaluate what is worthy, make sure we have the whole story and we arent gonna piss off a bunch of players who disagree, and try to avoid any perception we are playing favorites. That alone is a fair amount of work.

Now for the technical part. Both FLhook and the updates have limits. The auto-update feature actually doesnt work for everyone. I would explain why but it's terribly technical and I have no idea. In fact I'm not sure if anybody knows exactly why. As for FLhook, I'm sure this comes with it's own set of complications and limits. I would guess that to do something this regularly there would need to be new code. Currently there is exactly one person with the ability to do that, and he has a lot of projects on his list. Also the amount of changes that can be FLhooked is limited, this might make the idea not work at all.

So yeah, that's why.
