My advice is to make the launch pods extend further backwards, and maybe even have them funnel into the area where the engines and the midsection meet. As for the arcs...

Arches are looking better now.

Launch bays are looking better, but I think it will look better if they are closed at the back, and curve back into the main part of the hull. (Like the above, quoted posted suggests.)

Also, Jinx's point about a medium-level cruiser is true.
