The Death of a former Shogun and his Pupil.

Sleep had fallen over The Verminator, Death Runner's ship, but not for the captain himself. He sat in his chambers alone, smoking a cigar with a grin on his face, and aiming straight at the door with the latest of plasma pistols. The silence is suddenly broken with the smashing down of the door to Death Runner's chambers. Hirosho Horatami, holding his blade in hand, and Lu Bu at his side, swiftly enter the room but stop themselves upon seeing the man in his wheelchair aiming at them.

"Heh.. Courageous ones, i see. Now move."

Death Runner wheels towards them, still aiming at the two. The former dragons still holding their blades, slowly move backwards down the hall way, staring at the corrupt man.

"Guards!"

Death Runner's guards begin entering the hallways through several doors, some aiming their weapons from behind the captain, and some nudging the two escapees back to their cell.

Hirosho Horatami suddenly jumps in the air, lashing out at one of the guards, grabbing another and throwing him into the one by Lu Bu. Within a second, the pair are slicing limbs off anyone within range.

"Hold your fire. I wana watch this."

The guards by the two attempt to fight hand to hand with the skilled samurais, while guards behind Death Runner continue to aim, fearfully. Lu Bu cuts off the legs of the guards several times, and finishes them by swiftly circling his blade and cutting their necks. The pair are quick. Too quick for the guards to keep up, one by one each of them falls until eventually blood stains the floor of the halls.

"Well done, well done indeed. Now go back to your cell like good little dragons. Hehe."

Death Runner leans back, in a more relaxed way, holding his cigar to the side of the chair.

"No. You living.. Is unacceptable. You're doings may not be widely known, but i know of them, and i shall not allow you to proceed with such evil! Stand up and fight me! You're not fooling anyone with that seat."

Horatami and Lu Bu change their stance, as if ready to run towards Death Runner and lash out as his skull.

The man in the wheelchair frowns.

"Kill them both."

Instantly, both of the former dragons begin running and high speed straight to the seated man while a hail of plasma and bullets are fired towards them. Knowing that this is the end of them both, Hirosho Horatami makes a final leap at Death Runner, his blade perfectly aligned to cut him in two, until a bullet hits his left arm, and throws him off balance. He loses control of his grip, and as the former shogun falls to his death, his most prized katana cuts the ash off Death Runner's newly flamed cigar.

For a moment the guards and the captain are silent, taking in the recent event. Death Runner looks down at the ash to the side of his chair, then looks back at the two dead bodies, then at Horatami's sword.

"C-... Clean this up..."
