I'm pretty sure that anyone that posted in this thread can provide countless screenshots from each parts of Sirius in which someone is spewing OORP stuff in system chat and generally acting like a douche after grinding for some hours in order to get that ship to grant them pseudo-authority, self-esteem and whatnot
Now, I know that everyone that posted in this thread is an established roleplayer that uses a little thing which I like VERY VERY much called common-sense.
And now, the question.
Why should MY game-time, and yours for that matter, be ruined by such an individual(or individuals, as it's more likely the case) who does not care about Role Play, does not bother to read the forums and most of the times has no clue of the rules even if they are spammed on the freaking screen...
WHY?
Some of us have jobs and other real life things to do, we come here to unwind and have some fun.
Now, I agree to some of you that say that you can ignore those that act unaccordingly and go your merry way having your own fun. Does not work all the time and it leads to some bottled anger and frustration, which creates threads like this one, however LEGITIMATE the reaction.
Sure, you can try to teach them and spend the time helping them get better, some of us do not have that luxury and I'm pretty sure even that will fail some times, which will lead to more sanctions to process.
The question though, remains. Those that advocate that freedom they speak so highly of... answer it. While at it, tell me where is my freedom to have fun and actually use this game server the way it was supposed to - Roleplay.
