Born Jarvis Simon on Roppongi Station, he is the illegitimate son of IND head Jay Simon. His mother Nancy Hicks worked for IND as a clerk, when he caught the eye of Jay Simon. A salacious affair went on for four months, which resulted in Nancy becoming pregnant. When Jay found out about the pregnancy, he reassigned Nancy and disavowed any connection to her or her unborn son. With little in the way of financial security, Nancy was forced to accept the reassignment, or lose her job and health coverage, with a baby on the way. Nancy moved to Roppongi and a few months later, she gave birth to a son. While Jay never accepted the child was his, she still decided to give the child his last name, along with the first name of her late father. Growing up, Jarvis's mother told him about his father and how it was the elder Simon's actions that doomed them to the life of mediocrity that they found themselves in. It can be clearly seen how Jarvis grew up and made it his mission to bring his father, and his father's work to the ground.
Jarvis knew, beyond a doubt his father would also be trying to watch him. Growing up on Roppongi it was always easy enough to lose the eyes by going down to the planet, or to Kabuchiko and by the time he was sixteen he had mastered getting rid of a tail. There weren't too many people in Kusari looking to help Jay Simon or IND. This is where Jarvis first began to fall in with the crowd he was looking for. Befriending a few folks in the Hogosha, he was able to get himself a new Kusari identity, and he began to live life as Taro Kamaga. He lived this life for 10 years, spending his time as a bartender on one of the Hogosha's cruise liners. After 10 years, Jarvis felt he had a deep enough cover to begin his plans. Catching a shuttle to planet Erie, he was able to purchase a used Starflier. After a quick stop at Detroit, where he used some old access code he had to pick up a shield buster, he made it to Rochester base. Here he was able to afford two guns and a shield upgrade before he ran out of money. Jarvis had spent a small amount of time on a Hogosha transport and had witness an act of piracy or two in his time. He headed to the Colorado jumpgate, where after a short wait, an Ageria Rhino showed up on his scanner along with its escort. A few moments later, both ships were scrap, and Jarvis was headed back to Rochester with a seventeen units of engine components in his hold. While Jarvis now had the money he needed, the trust was going to take a bit more work. Heading out of Rochester again, he flew back to Detroit and went on a rampage, taking out every Xeno and lawful he could find. By the end of the day, Jarvis returned to Rochester with fourteen civilian pilots and three Xenos, plus the ones he left floating in the vacuum. After turning over the pods to the dealer, and collecting his payment, Jarvis was walking down the promenade of the station when a man pulled him into a side corridor. The man said Jarvis had been noticed by the Liberty Rogues, and that he should make his way to Buffalo base as soon as he could. Jarvis needed no more, this was the moment he had been waiting for. He left that night and headed to Buffalo, a long and dangerous trip for Jarvis in his rickety ship. Finally Jarvis made it into the Badlands. Flying for what seemed like hours, he eventually reached the rock in the middle called Buffalo. He docked and went to look around. While he was in the ship dealer, a thing of such beauty caught his eye. It was the Dagger, sleek and strong, this ship was one of the finest small craft he had ever seen. Looking at his funding he found himself sadly, without enough to afford the ship. Heading into the bar, Jarvis figured he would be able to find some Rogue looking for a little work to be done, and he was not disappointed. He easily found a contract and was off to take out a Bounty Hunter patrol just outside the Badlands. Quick and dirty work and Jarvis was back at Buffalo, handing his well earned credits to the ship dealer. Looking over his new ship, Jarvis knew he was almost there. Sleeping at Buffalo for the night, in the morning Jarvis headed out for Mactan. It was as he was on his way that he was contacted by a Lane Hacker, Brutus Clay, this man, as well as his group gave him help doing the work to sort out his ship and it's IFF. Finally, Jarvis was really ready to begin his quest, sitting in the cockpit of his sleek Dagger armed to the teeth, and flashing a Lane Hacker transponder, it was time for Jarvis to exact his revenge.
