Why should I sanction you, I have better things to do.
Raul will take care of that. Anyway.
Thing is, the base in question was supplied by a samura IDed ship.
It is a goddamn kusarian ship supplying some random base in Keplar.
Now if the thing was named "Ames extension" or something, then I would have just shrugged.
Instead, a freelancer eagle starts shooting us. Fair enough, ignore. Then a zoner BS comes and starts shooting us without any RP. Okay, fakit.
But when a damn Xeno IDed ship comes and shoot us, I have a problem.

The bottom line is that base was part of XA/Ames joint RP. Something I told you about ingame. You ignored it and kept on shooting. I acted accordingly.
So let me get this straight.
A base in Kepler which has a Samura 5ker supplying it.
A base named nothing to indicate its affiliation to the Xenos or Zoners.
And you shot us for popping it? Seriously?
Well, too bad, I suppose. Name it after the zoner station next to it then next time.

Attacking zoners near Ames is harming xeno interests in Kepler.
Ames is the only place we can obtain anti-radiation pharmaceuticals without which the Nome would just die.
Therefore, attacking zoner assets in zoner presence near Ames puts whole xeno base at huge risk.
Additionally, disobeying direct orders from one of leaders of official faction by indies like you... orders that was strictly inRP... that's really, really bad.
Quote:4.7 Official player factions have authority over players of the same NPC affiliation, as long as RP justification is provided. This authority applies in forums and in-game, and applies to player faction diplomacy, and strategic and tactical direction. However, exercise of that authority, on the forums and in game, is restricted to official faction members with the rank of the official faction leader and one rank below him/her. The authority may be exercised through the use of in-game in-RP orders, which, if not obeyed, can result in in-game in-RP consequences (arrest, court martial, and even "lethal" force in extreme circumstances). Official player factions cannot, under any cicrumstances, require another player to follow non-canon RP if that player doesn't want to.
Ames supplying Nome is lore.
The justification was related to diplomacy, tactics and strategy.

disobeying direct orders from one of leaders of official faction by indies like you...
by indies like you...
And thus our true colors show.
I'm outta here.

I think it would have been more clear if he would have said indies that just want to be dicks. We <3 most of our indies. Just thought I would clarify that.
I miss that real extremist brutality with no regard to human life from such faction. For my taste you guys seem way too... friendly. As it would try to achieve legal political party status or something. I assume that xeno ID grants lot of ways how it could be played from xenophobic hooligan to radical political activists but your take seems a bit too soft and out of balance.
That's what this topic is for.
Could you please give some example?
It is hard to balance the brutality in fact.
On one hand, the lore describes xenos as terrorists. On the other, xenos as patriots, extremely right wing, wouldn't be able to survive as an organisation if they just killed everything in sight. Foreigners - yeah. But then again, who is foreigner? Most of traders in liberty uses either libertonian or freelancer IDs. And Freelancers are the only that we can consider being non-corporate libertonian traders - the ones we'd be happy to see to keep the libertonian internal economy running.
That's why xeno RP is hard. If we are only slightly too friendly, we don't do what we're meant to. If we're slightly too bloodthirsty, we start to hurt the very basic economy of the house we're fighting for - therfore hurting the cause itself.
What could help with that, would be much more fights with LPI - the most corrupt organisation in Liberty. Unfortunately, LPI is practically inactive.
So yeah, I would be really glad to know some examples and your oppinion on - how should we act as xenos in this particular situation.
Oh, and one more thing: we are currently preparing two separate RPs that will make XA much more terroristic in libertonian eyes.

I doubt all xenophobic, patriotic terrorists are clever enough to see the scope of their actions, and how it may affect them negatively.
Not to go into politics but if you ask a government-hostile confederate-sympathizing american what to do with federal government or an average OWS activist what to do with Wall Street, they would say "tear it down" with little to no regard as to how the country is supposed to carry on without those institutions.
I wouldn't mind seeing that in the Xenos, also more aggressive targeting of freelancer traders, so they would need a really good RP excuse/background to get off the hook, rather than them just saying "but I'm a little guy, I'm a freelancer, look at my ID".
So yeh, don't hold back on the violence. Your ZOI is super limited, so is the choice of ships plus everyone hates you and won't let you dock, so the ID is more than balanced even if you should decide to start a gory spree of violence in Liberty.
