Always make some kind of remark for your accidental disconnections as the other players around you would get the same message as deliberate disconnection. Be careful when you disconnect in space.

Also, the rule everyone are referring to is:

5.9 Disconnecting from the server in a PvP fight to escape, as well as in any other situation that involves player interaction, is not allowed. If you lose server connection during a player interaction, you should get back in game quickly to continue the interaction, with the other player's permission. If that is not possible, then post on the forums and PM the players involved.

When someone disconnects from space, the green message of "Cloaking Device" appears on the nearby players' screen. When you disconnect, your ship stays in space for 1 minute after disconnection and you won't be able to log back in till your ship completely disappears. Using this method to escape Piracy or any other player interaction is against the Rules, and a simple screenshot of your 'Cloaking Device' message is enough to get you sanctioned. So, in case you accidentally disconnect from Server when interacting with other players, make sure to post a thread in Flood with your Char name in the title and apologize about disconnection, and also make sure to get back ingame as soon as you can, and if the other players are still around, PM them and offer them to resume your interaction.
