Plus, i've seen one with a Arwing-bug, two of his weapons couldn't be seen and CD was missing.
Yes that's the other thing, nine times out of ten the CD refuses to fire, the ammo drops but the disruptor fails to fire. Annoying when you are trying to stop someone. Makes cargo interdiction impossible on your own.
Saint Del is considered a holy healer of diseases of children, but also as a protector of cattle.
Taiidan is a bit too.. sophisticated. Though I really have no idea which other bomber you could use.
Waran should be something like unlawful Civilian, but it's sold on a Junker base.
Oh well, I guess it's fine. Especially if you will switch back to pregies in the next version.

I always have fun whenever I bump into you guys. Love the RP. Don't think there's anything you need to change. The Taiidan is a bit non-xeno, but given that the Preagle steers like a cow, I don't have a problem with you having a few until the Roc is available.
I forgot about this thing for a week or two before realizing that we might have all manner of complaints stacking up. Exploded traders and the like.
Honestly 90% of the Xeno's good fortune these days is attributable to the new recruits we have. We've got some really enthusiastic and epic fellows who're really running with the faction. Frankly in about two weeks they'll likely be staging a coup, one which I'll be proudly saluting as I'm put up against the wall.
Re: Taiidan
Honestly, the only reason I'm flying it is due to my needing to make a new character due to that darn NCC bug. Thought I would take it out for a spin to see how the other half lives (privilege of rank and all!). After flying the Preagle for three plus months I have to say that it's a refreshing change to be able to turn and whatnot, though chances are I'll actually be switching back here in a little bit. The ship really just doesn't feel very Xenoish to me at all. Too shiny, really, though I find it to be an outstandingly well balanced bomber.
*sends everyone down memory lane*
When we were creating the initial ship list there were a -lot- of vessels that got stomped on despite being technically available due chiefly to aesthetics, origins and so on. The Virage, for example, is a grand example of such a vessel. It's sold right next door to the Crow but I have a -really- hard time looking at it and imagining it being crawled over by Ouray's mechs.
I also dimly recall something about a murder, some fellow mentioned the Raven Talon being sold on a Zoner base and, well, it's all rather a blur.
All in all I agree that the Taiidan is a bit of a departure. Despite being a 'civilian' line vessel sold on the same base from which we secure the Preagle... The peg really just doesn't fit the whole.
But I do appreciate you folks extending a gracious hand on the subject. It's nice to be able to indulge in a bit of a luxury. Not dissimilar to the rank and file of a Hogosha faction using the Civilian Bomber whilst the boys in charge would utilize Kusari's finest.
Honestly. If the Crow's hitbox managed to get tweaked to that o' a large dagger and with a new and more useful Preagle coupled with the exceptional nature of the Eagle... Well I'd say we would be doing pretty darn good shipwise! It's nice being a fighter jock faction, no worries about people arguing over cap usage. Lord help us all if we got transports though, it would be an indie ctrans swarm in no time!
First; I'm not XA. but I was the indy with those two XA.
You were caught pirating in Colorado.. Thats Xenos territory and we don't take kindly to people poaching in our yard. We didn't know what you were flying until we found you, and it doesn't really matter either. If we were three gunboats, then you'd have a right to complain. But three fighters, and you want to complain about that? Should two of us fly Starfliers just to appease you when our goal is to kill you, not have a pleasant friendly chat?
Furthermore, we chased you to Cassini, your guard system.. Most of the time people pull off and not enter the guard system to avoid the strong NPCs. And you.. Want to complain because we risked it to do what we thought was in-RP, catching you? Really, what did you want us to do in this situation? Just let you go, no consequences? This isn't a complaint about how we conducted ourselves, for my wingmen were RPing excellently, while we got little back from you.. This is a complaint simply because we chased you and weren't going to let you get away with doing whatever you damn well please.. This thread is here for constructive criticism and to let XA know how to better themselves. Not only is this unconstructive, but you provided absolutely no suggestions on how XA could fix or change what they do to make it better. This is because they did absolutely nothing wrong, so you can't suggest how to fix what isn't broken.
Is chasing a single bomber with a group of three regular for us? No.
Is chasing a single bomber who pirated in Colorado perfectly legit and in-RP for us? Yes.
Is chasing a single bomber into his own guard system, where he has the advantage and we certainly don't hurting RP? No.
Is it in-RP to do exactly what was described to attempt to fulfill our objectives, regardless of the risks to ourselves? Yes.
' Wrote:Is chasing a lone Rogue bomber into Cassini with a wing of three a regular occurrence with you chaps?
Thanks.
I didn't think we'd catch you since you had a big lead (and we didn't), the chase was entirely in RP for us since Colorado is our main base of operations, and it was a nice bit of RP we put into system chat.
I'm not exactly certain what you've got to complain about, Orin.
