Concerns are noted, however most members have more than one vessel in the SF so I don't forsee a sudden shift of the defense fleet into stormpike. Example, my BS isn't moving from Cambridge. Plus, I would expect most members to perform attacks into Kusari when action is slow in Cambridge, of course.

Yesterday at 22:00 hours, while BS SEAGATE was on a routine patrol, an unindentifeid helghast vessel atacked and caught us unprepared. Armor enhancments ware not yet in place and several key weapon systems were still offline. As I tried to subdo the helghast vessel, another pirate also attacked the Seagate. Indentified as the RX7_destroyer, it disabled my cruise engines and engaged in a heavy attack. In the meantime, some weapon systems were back online and I engaged the pirate ships. Two ships, that ware in the vicinity, also engaged the pirates. I did not have time to indentify other two ships cause the sensor array was badly demaged. The helghast vessle was destroyed and after several minutes, Seagate was unable to take any more demage. We had multiple hull breches across all decks, so as soon the cruise engines were back online, I moved the ship away from the battle.Suffered a handful of casulties and several injured crewmen.
The Seagate successfully landed on the planet Cambrige as soon as the remaining pirate ship fled the Cambrige space and enterd the Omega 5 system.
The repairs are on the way and we beleve that it should not take more than couple of days. BS Seagate still needs a lot of work to get all of the systems operating at full capacity.
This message was sent as soon as we got the communicatons back online.
I would strongly recomend that the pirate RX7_distroyer, be treated as extreamly hostile...

Informing everyone that I'll be on a short excursion to the outer rim to investigate some odd reports regarding an unknown vessel (ooc: in other words going on vacation for a week). I may or may not be in touch so if I don't reestablish contact by tomorrow assume I have lost contact.
In my absence and if communication is lost, Commodore Badger will assume responsibilites for leading the SF. Simply continue current operations and adapt to the situation as necessary.

Comm ID: Battleship Sierra
Three capital ships were engaged in Cambridge today belonging to the Lane Hackers RACS and Helghast. Both were destroyed due to the quick actions of Battleship Sierra and Destroyer Black Paw. We were assisted by the trader JimBob who helped to keep fire flowing in on the enemy, and distracting them too.
The one that was most disturbing, however, was one by the name of [AFH]_Captain.Dusseldorf. Carrying Bretonian Police Pilots, he was ordered to drop his cargo, and refused, firing upon the helpless trader of Captain Hyperwave. The trader was destroyed. However, the BlackPaw engaged, calling in Battleship Sierra, in which the battleship (nomad) ran. He was chased sometime later, and ran once again.
I warn all SF ships to be wary of this threat, and be sure to be careful when he is in Cambridge.
Battleship Sierra out...

Be wary of a threat from the Golden Chrystanthenums. Apparently, they have an extremely advanced technology. They have threatened the SF, and I warn all to be careful of a character tagged as (Kiretsu?).

Though we should be alert should any new pirate force threaten Bretonia, we too should exercise restraint where the Kiretsu are concerned. As they are affiliated with the Golden Chrysanthemums somehow, we may have shared interests in the destruction of Kusari, in a similar fashion to our previous NAP with the Yakuza. It's early days yet, should we come into contact with another Kiretsu, we can hopefully determine where they stand, the obvious language barrier permitting ;0).

Have received word that Kiggles has returned in a limited fashion to the server, so I'd like to extend a nice welcome to him back :D (Have updated the faction status thread accordingly)
Also, thekillerppodl can you PM me your character names and where you would like them to operate so I can update the faction status thread.
In regards to the Kiretsu, maintain an escort status for them while in Cambridge. Report any encounters to determine their status, given their apparent unlawful connections caution should be exercised, although if they are hostile towards the Kusari perhaps a neutral status can be maintained.
