Nomad ID can only be obtained from the Lost Battlestar. But the only that can dock there are the admins, as the ship is hostile to everybody and that cannot be bribed.

well, i've always toyed with the ide of getting a nomad fighter, naming it 'nomad raider 2' or whatever, and not putting a shield on ti, to make it better RP. So i'd just be using a FL id at that point?

Leave the shield on it, admittedly it'll only be a class 9 LF shield but it still helps as the nomad fight only has 3 gun mounts and a torpedo/disrupter slot, no mine or CM mounts.

well, im tryna make it look as much like an in game nomad as possible. But its the id thing that bothers me, i think it would look kinda dumb to have a 'freelancer' id on a nomad...

Well to be honest you'll never do as much damage as the in-game nomads do and plus most players are likely to be too busy either running, trying to run or fighting you to take much notice of the ID...

One more thing:
Remember that you are not obligated to be in the clan you are. It's Freelancer. If you don't like the clan you can leave, you won't get banned or anything like it.
Or you could make another cahr. :P
