EDIT: I mean, not in the case of silent traders running at every opportunity, but if the trader stopped when demanded, no need to shoot the ship right away if some answer don't come immediately.

Well, I don't remember ever seeing a Nomad do anything except abuse it's cloak to feed regens or insta people. Good thing cloaks got nerfed recently. It's fun to see a Marduk or two log to try to hunt a lone trader guy down in Kansas with their cloaks, then get rushed by half the server and be forced to hide 100k above plane in Leeds while still cloaked. But RP? Never seen any decent RP from them. Nomad ships are just lol tools for Khara and their skype buddies atm. Pretty sad to see the faction go to waste.

Wow that was off topic. On topic, yes, 12 seconds is enough to type out anything short to say you're complying, and if you start thrusting or cruising, be prepared to die. I mean, you probably won't DIE in 12 seconds, but that's more than enough time for me to get started on it.

you have to deal that time on a case by case basis, in worst case no one is siting at the pc anymore...
then rp out that the ship has no crew and blow it up
but to say you have XX seconds for every case is not possible

As the person whom was in the Marduk in question, let's add some context before everyone grabs their pitchforks.

1) Nomads are the one faction/group that are allowed to engage with no RP. They are the main antagonists in the SP game, and one of the main ones in Disco too. K'Hara though, have an internal rule to drop at least one line of RP before engaging.

2) We also have the rule that you don't RP cloaked, UNLESS you are within 10k of a vessel and if it via PM. Doesn't make sense to establish a connection from systems away, nor inRP can we.

3) The person in question was someone whom was a Nomad right before, but flew away, logged, and brought in the dustbowl for some fun since Texas was ramping up with activity. What you DIDN'T see was that there was RP via PM, which again is what we do when cloaked.

So that less than 12 seconds cloaked with no RP is 1) Actually allowed in server rules had I not done any RP, but 2) There was RP, just you didn't have visibility.

Hope that offers some clarification before people say "REPORT!" or "Abuse!"
