Yes even by their info cards BHG Destroyers and higher are for the Edge systems and deep Omegas.
It saddens me each time I see one in House systems or even the Border systems. Quite frankly I see no point the General Bounties that have been posted are for Gunboats and smaller so the large ships aren't even getting paid to use their cruisers and battleships let alone gain Nomad Technology like they should be doing in the first place or ridding us of the Order competition. Come one Core get us those uber weapons so we scrub the house systems clean of criminals and get rich while doing it. :laugh:

They are not the one can go any where. Have you see BHG attacks Planet Crete, and it's in front of Crete? have you see BHG attacks Planet Malta, and it's in front of Malta, the answer it's NO, according to BHG's RP in FL 1.0...as Jinx said, they patrol and hunt down bounties, not anything like Military type Organization, and Military type of BHG is what we have now in our server.IMO. they are just bunch of skilled pilots like to "Hunt Bounty to live, Live to Hunt bounty"..Not hey. looks like we have a big cap fleet here. let's go to Crete and Malta to pwn some pirates..

BHG cap attacks on the Omicrons will happen either way. There's really no real way to curb that.

This is just keeping the BHG caps from running over everywhere, attacking everyone in Sigma-13, etc.

OK I can live with BH being limited to not having gunboats/gunships the issue is that when pirates use multiple gunboats pirating a single choke point explain how a BH is supposed to collect a bounty on said pirates? And did the info card not read "may hunt pirates" or is that being changed as well?

So only BH are being restricted then?? if non faction players have access to equipment ( recent example junker tagged pirates using liberty rogue gunboats) is allowed but Bounty Hunters are restricted it seems a bit off kilter.

@Alistev: There has been a change in the upcoming ID. Regular BH will be allowed to pilot both gunships and gunboats.

If the BH's need to be under "control" who controls the use of pirate caps like often seen in Sigma and even core systems?!

This makes no real sense to me if the pirates almost can go everywhere but the BH's cant.

Wouldn't it be a better idea to make restrictions (even more then we already have) to get
permission to buy a capship larger then gunboat/gunship?

To give only responsable players that have proofen responsability and good RP the permission to
have such a capship. Most caps causing trouble are played by youngsters at least as far as I got
knowledge or as I've experienced.

That's not a matter of BH caps only, pirates and even other lawfulls are equal, doing the same stupid things
with their caps.

Sometimes I've the impression that the pirates have a huge lobby on this server and pushing things
in a way they like best no matter if it makes sense or if it's fair.

Just to prevent any misunderstandings, I'm talking about ingame RP, and I've no problem with youngsters
as long as they don't act like kids on a rampage:)or just behave like a...oles misusing the power of their ship and doing only poor RP.

Have you read the discussion at all? The BHG would not use capital ships above GB class to collect common bounties. It's not cost effective.

The Core can use capital ships above GB class, but they are there to fight a war. Not collect profit.

orin, sorry, but not one time i saw core fleet (including bs) attackign crete without single word.... and sorry, that has nothing with fighting a war.

to bh. when you restrict bh to gb max, all pvp cap whores will switch to unlawfull cap ships. whn you restrict unlawfull ,they switch to lawfull. etc etc etc. that will never end.

on the other side, when you take a look on what bh cap ships make now, i think they need to be hostile to everyone else. or oyu think zoenrs allow them to use freeports, when they make corsairs or outcast so angry? i think no. or you think that rheinland or liberty or bretonia will be happy from these attacks that make pirates much more agressive as they are? i think no.
