I have two main characters:
- Sir Firmus Piett - If you are interested read his biography. (It is still under construction)
- A [color=#00CCCC]Keeper which goals are to evolve into "Advisor", something like nomad farseer (read Nomad Lore for more information). I will create a wiki page about it when I have more time.
Age:
His age falls under a few categories.
Physical: Physically he looks 19.
Chronologically: Going by years, mid 30s.
He is part of the Order, and was there for a long time.
Born on Los Angeles to a rich family. His family was from a long line of businessmen who had formed a company that developed key components to things like land vehicles, airships, etc, and a few spaceships. His parents were both in the Navy as of 801 AS, when his dad was murdered (by Infected LSF operatives). He had a normal childhood up till age 5, when he and his twin sister Ellie were exposed to a chemical that accelerated thier aging. In a month they had gone from age 5 to age ten. at the end of month two, there were 19. They were placed in Cryogenic suspension until 800 AS, when a cure for their problem was hopefully found. He joined the Order near the end of the Nomad War, and was Alpha 2 in SP (I did this for awhile, no one really said I couldnt :S). The "cure" then stopped working, sending him, Ellie, and Rika Hunter into cryostasis again (Rika didn't want to age like her siblings did). He was taken out of Cryostasis in 815 AS, with a cure that worked. Shortly after that, he had an aneurysm due to all this, which unlocked latent Wilde DNA, which manifested his telekinetic ability*. Drawback was massive headaches the more he used it.
Currently Jeremy joined the Order again, rose through the ranks to Major, was bumped to Ensign for almost nuking Manhattan, reinstated at Major, promoted to Colonel, then transferred to the Primary Fleet as a Veteran Agent, leaving his command ship, the Oathkeeper, in the hands of his AI Namine.
Ships:
His Anubis "Rika's Shield" was his main fighter before trading it in for his Nephthys (currently in the hands of his sister Rika).
his Nephthys, Black Icarus, his most trusted possession (and my oldest ship).
The CV-7 Heavy Assault/Electronic Warfare Osiris Oathkeeper
He owns no other ship, as he borrows others' when needed, such as the Raven's Talon [i[Midnight Roar[/i] or any of his siblings/friends craft; he also was the CO of a Resheph, the Ghost Eye before passing it onto his brother, Seth. Is slated to obtain a Seth LF that'll prolly be called Icarus Rising.
Char 2:
Alexis Hunter
Age: 25 (would be in her 50s, but hey, phased jumphole + being on a flaming dreadnought does wonders to your complexion).
Rank: Captain
Occupation: Liberty Navy (assigned to the National Guard cruiser Thalia Grace
Background:
Currently a WiP, I add as I go; what can be found is HERE.
One thing that I haven't really written about is her love life, which is a bit complex. Alexis Hunter was bisexual all the time, but ended up falling in love with a Liberty Rogue named Siena Rae (played by Kaiwren). Their relationship is difficult, being she's navy and Siena's LR (indie). It's a fun storyline, as both are radically different, being Alexis is kind, flirty, and playful, and Siena...essentially she's an evil whore. Never the less, Alexis has ended up being one of my main characters besides Jeremy, and one of my favorites.
Relations between these two, besides Mother-Son:
Somehow, both ended up banging Siena Rae. I blame Kaiwren. I really do.
Izzy Archer, who lives with Alexis, is Jeremy's wife, and is close friends with Kai Asuka, another old flame of Jeremy's.
I spend as much time finding ways to connect all my characters as I do actually RP'n them. Heh.
* = This part I've been working on for awhile, with the help of someone alot of us know. Once I manage to find time to edit the original draft and all, you'll know who:P
40-ish, bald, and wanting a strong son
to continue his work after he dies.
Nobody lives forever. Especially not
in that part of space. Besides - those
cap-happy Sairs won't feed themselves.
He likes long walks on irradiated, barren
sands and fly-by's near neutron stars and
various other space anomalies. But that
all is nothing compared to his ship,
the Espinante and his first-born's dagger.
He especially loves to cut throats of
Bretonian and Rheinland freight-ship
commanders with it.
Violence with a passion.
ps: Also quite fond of bearded women.
His kids must be manly and spartan.
A while back it would've been a close match between Tenacity, my junker, and Kaylee Staite/Aki kimura, my order characters. Nowdays, I dont have the junker anymore, so it's just Staite.
Name: Kaylee Staite Age: 24 (as of 4.86) Faction: The Order - Order Science Division Ship: The "Bastet", Geb-Class Light Carrier
[u]Role/background:
Kaylee Staite was among the first generation of Toledo-Born children, raised within and parented by The Order. She was trained from a very young age for the sole purpose of becoming an Order Officer. At 22, she was selected as the replacement for the exiled Admiral Aki Kimura, taking her place on the Board of Admiralty as a member of Order High Command and taking control of Kimura's recovered vessel, the Geb-Class Light Carrier "Bastet".
At 23, Staite commanded a deep space exploration mission outside of known Sirius space in an attempt to locate new habitable worlds and resource deposits for the Order to expand. The year-long expedition was perilous, and after nearly running out of supplies and having suffered extensive damage to the Bastet and it's snubcraft Staite returned to find the Order and High Command under an entirely new leadership.
Records of Staite's service and her exploration assignment were lost due to those changes in leadership, and Staite was no longer recognized as an Admiral or member of High Command. After some struggle, a compromise was made, with Staite being granted full leadership and control of the relatively small Order Science Division in recognition of her skills and past work with the Order.
Second up would be Miranda:
Name: "Miranda" - Last name unknown Age: Unknown Faction: The Nomads/Wild Ship: The "Ascendant", Storta-Class Outcast Destroyer
[u]Role/background:
Miranda was originally a Zoner Captain, commanding a corvo-class exploration ship. She and her crew were the first humans to find the Daam K'vosh station known as the "Shrine" and subsequently went on to create the Nomad-worshiping psuedo-religious cult known as the "Oracles". During her time on the Shrine, Miranda was taken as a "host" by an artificial intelligence entity left onboard the station by the K'vosh. The entity genetically manipulated her body to enable the use of K'vosh artifacts, also lending to some minor forms of telepathy and telekinesis. It used her as a vessel to seek out various bits of information and devices left throughout Sirius by the K'vosh, seeking to find the location of a derelict K'vosh starship that was left hidden somewhere in the Sirius sector.
After it had used her, the Shrine AI entity left her with little memory of what had transpired. Miranda reached out to the Nomads, becoming a willing host in an attempt to contact the Mindshare and seek answers about the Shrine. During her trip to Omicron Iota, she was captured by the LSF and experimented upon, eventually escaping and continuing the journey. The Nomad in her was killed in the process, but it - combined with the genetic alterations undertaken onboard the shrine - had begun to convert Miranda's nervous and skeletal systems into nomad-like cell structures.
Now, Miranda has become the first 'True' hybrid - nomad on the inside but otherwise human in appearance on the outside - and is working with the Oracles, Keepers, Wild, and Spectres to seek out the same Daam K'vosh starship that the Shrine entity was after.
Name: Damien McEwan DOB: 6-6-781 Affiliation: Gaian Guard Craft: Classic Gaian Claymore with full Houseboat cargo modification package Current Residence: The Erinloch Roadhouse- Copinsay, Orkney
A first-generation Islay native, he joined military service at the legal age of seventeen and after completing two consecutive seasons of the survival trial on Gaia's surface, was fastracked into the Gaian Guard. After five years of service at Glendale, he came under the command of Colin 'Caulobacter Phage' Murphy and returned home to Edinburgh as member of a bioterror cell known as 'The Plague Dogs'
His function was as carrier of an artificially engineered strain of Marburg virus and meant to act as a 'virus bomb' upon the residents of Planet Harris, his being only one part of what was meant to be a coordinated simultaneous attack across Bretonia.
'Dimi' endured a deep crisis of conscience, eventually leading to the point of open rebellion towards Phage. Not because of the mass murder he's been trained for (he was perfectly cool with all that) but in the years between infection and activation, he began to feel that viral warfare was a violation of 'The Gaia Principal' and could not be properly controlled by hand.
Unwilling to tolerate dissent, Phage shot McEwan in the stomach & dumped him to rot in a trash barge bound outside of Bretonian space to Planet Manhattan.
With the aid of another Plague Dog by the name of Moira 'Ebola' Kentigearna, Dimi slowly made his way over the months back into Edinburgh with the goal of acquiring the Marburg antidote away from Phage prior to activation by any means necessary.
After learning that Phage ingested the last undestroyed dose of the Marburg antivirus as leverage against him, Damien snapped and simply took the antidote by ripping his commanders throat out with his teeth.
Walter Daumann ( no picture)
Never thought about his age but guess he must be around 40 or 50.
He was born in New Berlin, as the heir of the Daumann family, without any brothers or sisters. He currently has 2 daughters and 1 son, the heir being Rebecca Daumann. He is the current CEO of DHC and head of the Daumann family.
His current job consist of tricking people to sell their soul to the <strike>Evil</strike> Daumann Corporation.
He hates genetically modified humans, if they can be called humans at all ( a.k.a furries).
Walty lives in the Daumann mansion in New Berlin, which due to his increasing paranoia, looks more like a fortress than a mansion. See, the Daumann family has a long tradition of the members from the secondary branch killing the ones from the main branch for power, plus there are red hobos everywhere as well waiting to bang his head with a hammer and slice his throat with a sickle. Some say he would sell his mom if that gave him more power, but the ones closer to him know he would offer her for leasing.
Nikolai Diavolo (duh),
A Lane Hacker, Specialist rank.
He's 26 and in the Hacker business for not too long now. Although he's an ex-ageira employee and should be hunting those a lot more, he concentrated on the IC lately and is also know to act aggresive towards any LPI force he encounters.
Also, the most flown ship by him lately is a Sabre, the ship he used the most all in all a Scimitar.
With more then 300 flight hours and over (EDIT:) 500 million credits pirated (not including cargo piracy) , Nikolai is one of the most seen pirates in Liberty of the last few month.
Brutus Clay is a former employee of Ageira Technologies, department on Jump technologies. He quit his job in the most violent way a few months after joining, claiming that the company executives plotted the murder of his colleague, although he never brought proof of this claim. He is a cunning, calculating man with several mental instabilities such as a light paranoia. He is also knee-deep in his addiction to Cardamine. He met several relatively important people on his journey, including Angela Corino, Dennis Jameson, Handolwiec, the Zoner known as Bret, David Hale, Thaddeus Gideon and Robert D'Souza. He likes to consider himself as the perfect Hacker stereotype.
Elektra King
Elektra King, Lane Hacker. Worked for Ageira Technologies after graduating in experimental Quantum Physics. She escaped the vile corporation after 3 years of service. Hacker hors-pair, she managed to gain access to several top-secret files during her time on Pueblo Station. She likes all things cute, such as electrolysis, rainbows, pastries, Sol Era anime series, and barnacles. She is also secretly in love with the Lane Hacker Professor Brutus Clay, but don't tell anyone. She is also probably the most cold-hearted Hacker currently in service, which is an achievement. Her hobbies include handing out pamphlets and refining gold ore on Mactan base.
Note: only one of these characters is actually mine.
