Try fighting Corsairs. Almost all (ALMOST I said) are so easy that I don't lose a single bot while fighting them. That includes the ones with UAU 8 and everything...

For two years I did not win any fighter duel!
(well gunboats is another thing, but they make you hate em after a short time).
Seriously, I am the most skillless...ahem, peacefull pilot from all over the Sirius.
That explains why I prefer light fighters and small transports.
And my objectives in battle is not to win, but to survive. Or stay alive as much as possible.
That is also quite a fun thing.
So if you totally suck at shooting people - get your LF and dodge your enemy unless he will die from boredom or fall asleep

Fighter battles are too fast for many people, which I why I quit trying long ago and went to caps. I'm pretty sure to win fighter battles you need ADHD. Each goes to their own, I dont like PvPing much and when I do I get a crazy high which is why I do it sporadically and my main character is a zoner.

Same here, almost. The difference is that in caps I actually started to really enjoy PvP, but I still get this crazy high. I believe the only way to get rid of that is to become 'cold and distant' (yeah, I know how it sounds) during the cap-cap fights. The good thing is that attitude goes along with RP-ing the commander of a warship, who should be very reasonable, at least quite distant, always responsible and never loose their temper.
