In RP this is the situation since many years, it would be good thing if it becomes in-game as well.
I see now how scary for the devs is to ask for player input because this would give bonus to corsairs, so there would be 2 groups- one that have corsair and want the bonus and one that does not like corsairs and would bring whatever irrelevant stuff in order to cut this bonus. Corsair haters does not want to recognise the Corsair dominating position in this part of space, even if the situation with Outcasts and Gallia back door is the same.
If you want to use it you must move in 2 Outcast owned systems one of them Alpha, why none of you brought up this as problem?
From this PoV Devs should ask only faction leaders, experienced players that have no side(does not play at all in this region-admins and other reliable people) and other Devs because this is contra productive.

It may not be an option you or anyone WANTS, but it is still an option that is fair and within RP. This is an RP server right? (Though I'm not so sure anymore since all the Vanilla Lore seems to keep getting ignored/tossed out.) Don't omit an option just because it might mean extra work or because you don't want others to know ALL the possible choices.
Why would trade corps not go into deep space? Borderworlds Express... wonder how they got that name?
Limiting zoners wasnt to divvy up the routes, it was because zoner rep made them much more immune to piracy
Seriously this just sounds like you knocking somebody else ice cream cone to the ground because you dropped your own
' Wrote:I'm not a fan of destroying Vanilla lore for the sake of balancing a trade route. Your attitude that throwing out Vanilla lore so easily is rather disturbing. What other quick easier fixes are going to sacrifice lore so that less time is spent balancing stuff?
It's also vanilla lore that jumpholes sometimes come in and out of phase alignment. So disabling one is perfectly in-lore. But that's beside the point. I asked for player input since I wasn't too sure that my own thoughts were the best in this. Was expecting a few snotty responses, given there's a few immature elements in our playerbase.

You can very, very easily get your 130k by moving the jump holes 30k to 40k movements along the Theta>41>5 route. Maybe one in 11 too.
Like I said, doubt that will suffice, but it's worth giving a try.

@Ursus
Borderworlds = Gallileo, Bering, Magellan, Cortez, Omega 3, Omega 7, Sigma 13, Sigma 19, Tau 29, Tau 31, Omega 15... basically any system ONE JUMP outside a house...
Also, Bowex stands for Borderworlds Export, not express

Well.
House traders going into Border Worlds is fine, it's when they start going outside of the company ZOI and into the Edge Worlds that it becomes a little oorp and an apparent 'problem'. Would Border Worlds Exports agree with their pilots taking a risky detour through 'off the beaten path' Edge worlds like Theta and O-41, then through a pirate war zone. Just to save a few minutes? Highly doubtful, and even if they did, those few extra minutes saved should be the reward for the risk taken.
If both routes take the same amount of time then whats the reward for taking the risk, as a Freelancer or Zoner? None. Keep in mind that not all of those who use that route are House traders in 5kers or ever even go into Bretonia, maybe they just use part of the route.
My point is that I don't see a problem at all, thus no need to change it, and especially not start deleting jump holes. It's everyone else who are perceiving it as a 'problem'. I'm just pointing out the two realistic and inRP solutions to that 'problem', that doesn't involve deleting/moving things.
*sigh* I'm done here. Snapp, strongly recommend you read everything before throwing up a +1.
- We don't want to put lines on IDs because that makes for more admin work.
- It is not just one route. Any traffic coming out of Kusari with destination Cambridge or vicinity gets nudged over this route as fastest to travel.
I'll sort it out.

some time ago I explored Rousillon. Impressive. Particularly the music on the planet that was a nice surprise.
so I recently started exploring Omega-55. LOL... NOMADS. LOTS AND LOTS OF NOMADS. SHOOTING THINGS. I GOT THE HELL OUT OF THERE. (and I was thinking, jeez I can't remember what that one was from the news. I hope I don't run into a nomad system)
recently started exploring Omega-41. what did you guys do to the star? that new effect there, that's impressive.

i know a solution...
get your arse ingame, bring a transport and help sairs build a base at the JH.... no more trading going that way...
Look at it from a Player perspective; No dev meddling, route is still there, JH is still there, it is moderated with roleplay instead of forced game mechanics.. Want to complain? cry to the sairs. No devs within the sair playerbase anyway. So your off the hook.
I can also guarantie that you will have lots of fun building that base too.
