Greetings, sirs.
I apologize for the delay on this, but I've been busy with things as of late.
First off, I am proud to report that a [color=#FF9900]Rheinland Military incursion into New York was turned back several days ago. Three enemy cruisers were engaged and destroyed with due haste by combined Primary and Secondary fleet elements.
Additionally, I was accosted and engaged by the Reaver known as Firebrick over Manhattan yesterday. It was an intense fight, but I managed to come out on top. I'm attaching the final shot of his vessel's demise below.
COMM ID:Fleet Admiral David Hale TARGET ID:Liberty Navy personnel SUBJECT:A great loss ENCRYPTION:Medium PRIORITY:High
Hale appears on the comms screen. He looks tired, worn, and deeply unhappy.
Ladies and gentlemen of the Liberty navy,
I wish that every time I had cause to bring you news, it would be good news. Sadly this is not the case.
[color=#FFFFFF]He pauses and rubs his eyes, looking down before continuing.
Recently we have lost a great asset to the Navy. An individual of great strength, both in military terms and on a more personal level.
Vice Admiral Lucia Defmir passed away following a long period of illness. Doctors were unable to determine the nature of this illness. It claimed her life on the twenty-sixth of this month.
Not many of you knew the Vice Admiral personally. Some of you may have not agreed with her methods, Some of you may have found her manner difficult... However her determination, skill at arms, loyalty and dedication to Liberty was second to none.
Her methods and manner were born from her belief in creating soldiers. Strict discipline, to her, was of utmost importance in saving lives. Your lives. The lives of the people you protect, your friends, your families. Her disciplinary nature was due to her care. Her humanity.
The battle she fought with this terminal illness was conducted with the same bravery and determination as every other battle she fought.
He looks away and sighs, closing his eyes for a moment before he looks back towards the camera.
Lucia Defmir was a close friend to me. I will not hide the fact we did not always agree, however disagreement leads to moderation in decision making. Her loss is... I don't have the words to describe the impact her death has upon myself.
She will be more than missed. A brave soldier who fought to the last. A selfless individual, who pushed many of you to the limit of your abilities, strengthening the navy through hard work and determination. A friend who's humanity shone through and touched those who managed to get close enough to see it.

Greetings, sirs.
Posting the round up of the illicit goods and vessels I've come across this past week. It's quite the list I must say.
[color=#FFFFFF]Subjects:Peppy&Hazzie
Found these two hauling over 2500 units of Cardamine each. I managed to get them to drop their contraband, and was discussing a fine with them when Hazzie went full stupid and retrieved his cargo in an attempt to run. Myself and a few SFC| members managed to dust him, though in the confusion Peppy fled the scene. Recommend that Peppy be fined the maximum amount for smuggling and fleeing the scene.
Found these guys independently of each other, but both were hauling the same illicit cargo of Slaves in their holds. Their papers were different, but it's entirely possible that they're still working together. I managed to stop both and destroy both vessels with help from the Secondary fleet, but unfortunately in both instances they spaced their holds and the people within were exposed to the cold reaches of space. No rescues were able to be afforded in either case.
I was working aboard the LLS Sierra Nevada when I first saw the Silas, an IDF affiliated and papered "Pachyderme" Transport headed past Houston towards Rheinland. I was not able to stop the vessel, but I kept note of it for later reference. Oddly enough, several hours later I was to find it sitting over Planet Erie with Corbin_Dallas and Meat_Popcicle, both in "Behemoth" Transports. All vessels were carrying Helium and talking amongst themselves as if there wasn't a problem in Sirius. I approached the IDF in the LNS Chico and gave a declaration of hostilities. The Gallic was incredulous of my statements, but once I opened fire upon him he and his "Behemoth" flying buddies dipromptly moved to avoid me by landing on Erie or Harrisburg Station. I moved off towards Philadelphia Station where I was joined by Admiral Jack Malrone. Oddly enough they launched within a short period of time and the Admiral and I were able to stop the Silas, though the other two vessels passed us. I'm told that they were later destroyed in Texas thanks to a returning task force from Rheinland space. In any event, we made it quite clear to the Gallic that we were now in a state of open hostilities, and we fragged his vessel after giving him the chance to leave Liberty, which he didn't take.
I found these two originally trying to haul Luxury Consumer Goods across the border to Rheinland around the same time I first ran across the Gallic. I turned them back initially, but I strongly suspect they ran the embargo anyway as my last view of them was their running towards the Badlands for what I suspect was the Texas Jump Hole. In any event, several hours later I ran across them again, except this time they were coming from Rheinland and both had cargo holds full of Synth Marijuana. Being that neither of them were Cryer| tagged vessels I halted them. I was in the midst of demanding that they drop their cargo and pay a fine while they attempted to talk me out of it when an Ion Storm hit, and I lost track of them. I suspect they used this opportunity to pass me as when it cleared I was not able to see them nearby. Recommend that they be fined the maximum amount if found for their smuggling and fleeing the scene.

Well, I'm playing a bit of catch up for the activities of the past week. I finally managed to acquire a Li-177 "Upholder" Bomber. I actually bought it secondhand from a recently retired Secondary Fleet officer, and after a few small adjustments it's become an absolute joy to fly.
Anyways, the week started off with a patrol along with [color=#33FF33]Ensign Rohj Teerin. After a few routine encounters, we came across a Bounty Hunter named Antonio Merchant in a Thresher destroyer in New York. He wouldn't leave, so, despite multiple warnings, we engaged him with the assistance of the LNS Rosemont. I managed to easily take him down with a volley of Hellfire Missiles.
Later, Teerin and I received a distress call from Secondary Fleet forces in New York. A rogue Secondary Fleet capital ship, the Yorktown, had fired on Melbourne Station's defenses and fled into Zone-21. I organized a strike team to pursue the ship into **REDACTED** but we were unable to track it down.
Later on the same day, I was at Manhattan when I received a distress call from a Omicron Supply Industries transport nearby. Turns out he was under fire from a Liberty Navy Secondary Fleet Cruiser, of all things. The ship's name was ^Think#Asu$*Force. I moved to assist the Zoner ship, a Whale designated OSI-Eternal.Light. The ship was summarily destroyed with the assistance of a SFC fighter. Request the High Command look into the illegal actions of this Liberty vessel.
A few days later, several Rheinland cruisers managed to break through our defense net in Texas and made it into the New York system. They were led by the BDM|RNC-Brynhildr, a long-time foe of the Navy. We didn't manage to track the Brynhildr down, but we did manage to hunt down and kill her consorts, .:FlashBurg:. and the RNC Schvumkopf. Afterwards we saw [RM]Fl.Bastian.Moeller enter the system from Texas. He was pursued to Rochester but managed to dock before we could finish him off. I also ended up blasting a Rogue-tagged Scylla, The.Very.Big.Funboat, in California with a few snubcraft and a gunboat assisting him in piracy.
Finally, last night we formed a small task group to enter Rheinland space for a raid. The group consisted of:
Vice Admiral Baker, on the Bunker Hill
Captain Sanders
Commander Clark, on the Blue Ridge
Lieutenant Commander Sius, on the MacArthur
Lieutenant Commander Polstari
Ensign Teerin
and Myself
We entered Hamburg and then New Berlin, and engaged two Rheinlander Wraiths. We successfully destroyed one, but the other managed to escape. Lieutenant Commander Polstari lost his ship, but his pod was successfully recovered.
On our way back, we also took out a couple of blockade runners, Meat.Popcicle and Corbin.Dallas. Keep an eye out for them in the future.

Greetings, sirs.
While launching from Manhattan in my Guardian to help counter a [color=#FF6600]Hellfire Legion incursion, I saw the vessels tagged as The.Train and Uther.Ganden headed for Manhattan. Having previously reported on The.Train as having landed Artifacts on Manhattan, I took a quick scan of each of them since they seemed to be working together, and I found that they were running even more of the same. I have the traffic control alert as well, so I can guarantee that they were making for Manhattan. Attaching visuals below.

Zypher_Arcane
Recently, there have been more ALG seen going through New York that weren't carrying waste. All claim to know nothing about an embargo, but most drop their cargo and leave under escort when ordered.
Yesterday, there was an encounter with an ALG named Zypher_Arcane, who was carrying Nanocapacitors. He was first spotted in New York by Captain Polstari in the Sierra Nevada, and we caught up to him in California. There, he refused to comply with our orders and we were forced to destroy his vessel. ID scan, destruction, and cargo remains.
Alaska Intrusion
Today, while on patrol with Captain Polstari, it came to our attention that there were intruders in the Alaska system. Polstari got there before I did and came into contact with the vessel 'BHG|Ironstrike'. The vessel, a gunboat, claimed that it was attempting to find a shortcut.
When I arrived, we pursued it to the New York jump gate, where two secondary fleet capital ships were waiting. Needless to say, we made short work of the intruder. ID scan and kill.
HF Legion Battle
Right after, while on patrol by myself, I came across three HF fighters taking on some Liberty Forces near Manhattan. A call was made to the communication channel, and Nathan Sathre showed up. However, he decided that the situation was handled, and left.
Shortly afterwards, the HF began to retreat. Two managed to get away and into California, but we held the last one at the gate. After a minute or so, a HF controlled Outcast Dreadnought came through the California gate to assist the remaining fighter.
Its attempts were futile, as that last fighter was destroyed moments later. Later on, a HF Cruiser and another fighter came through the gate, forcing some Liberty Forces to retreat and destroying another. Levsky (Dreadnought), SFC|LNS-Florida (LSC), and myself (Avenger) remained. BastiBast22 (LABC) fell back to the edge of sensor range.
The fighting went on for a few minutes, where both the new HF fighter and Levsky were destroyed. The Florida had taken heavy damage, and we were forced to retreat. Sathre,HF retreat,Brass killed,Grey killed, and Levsky killed.

Later today, I talked with Captain Polstari and Commander Clark about our repair ship, which had not flown in a while. Clark lent me command of the vessel, where I took it to Richmond to get it refitted. There, its shields and scanner were upgraded and a turret was replaced. We are currently gathering sufficient funds to upgrade its armor as well.

Sirs, Ma'ams.
[color=#CCCCCC]Hartman here, got a bit to catch up on.
Long range scanners in Texas pinged a Rheinland Battleship, callsign DS}Furchterliche. Captain Polstari assembled a task force to counter it [See Patrol summary] and we RV'd at the New York --> Texas Gate, Texas side. All units engaged the Battleship, which jumped for home when its Captain lost his nerve. From what I've seen, that same ship later jumped back to New York and was destroyed. While our bombers were attacking the Warship a Hacker fighter joined the fight and opened up on my Upholder. Thanks to the efforts of the [LN]-LNF-Fun.Fields it wasn't enough to halt our forces, and the Hacker broke off as soon as the Rheinlanders jumped.
Fighter units on Norfolk received a general alert; courtesy of the Captain of the LNS-Potomac, reportin' a nice family gathering by the Xenos in Colorado. Potomac reported three hostile snubcraft; two Warren bombers and an unknown Very Heavy Fighter. Knowing the Xenos, I'd bet on it being an Eagle. Based on the gunboat's report, I called up a task force to deal with the ships. Unfortunately, we were too late to the Potomac, and we lost contact with the gunboat shortly after the initial report.
The arrival of Naval forces in Colorado did the trick, and the Xenos broke away from the lane. Last sighting by Pueblo's scanners had them jumping out of the star system. Our forces conducted a final sweep of the lane to ensure it was clear. Task Force Ravenswood was disbanded shortly after loss of contact was confirmed.

Ain't strictly a patrol, but I've received reports that the Naval fighter Aakopa initiated a series of unprovoked attacks against civilian and military targets. The pilot didn't respond to communications of any sort, 'cept for fleeing. On those grounds, I gave the all-clear for our ships to bring the rogue down, for questioning. Last report had Aakopa fleeing into the asteroid fields in California.
With that issue dealt with, I shipped out on the Little.Rock to assist in training the crew of the Siege Cruiser, Sir.String.
While hauling supplies between Fort Bush and Norfolk Shipyard, the LLS-Clearwater came under attack by a trio of pirate fighters, with an additional fighter engaged by bounty hunter forces. Clearwater returned fire and set a course for Norfolk. The pirates focused fire and just about tore through the ship.
Consider this field-confirmation that the new armour upgrades work, because I ain't volunteering to test them a second time.
It wasn't the most comfortable situation I've been in. It was damn lucky that Junior Lieutenant Teerin arrived when he did, and was able to distract the hostiles for long enough for us to make it in.

A few small items worth mention from the last few days of patrols.
First was an encounter at Planet Denver. A ship by the name of [color=#FF6666]Big_Limon was caught smuggling Nuclear Devices near the planet. I stopped him, and he seemed about to cooperate, but then took off. Unfortunately my Guardian, even with a bit of help from a nearby LSF agent, lacked the firepower to space his hull before he managed to dock on the planet.
Later the same night, I was maintaining overwatch at Norfolk and Zone-21 when Captain Alan Polstari notified me that there were reports of an unknown ship in **REDACTED**. I performed a short sweep of the system and was about to give up when he was sighted near **REDACTED** Shipyard. I chased the ship in question, a Zoner Whale called [GK]LC_5 through the gate back into Zone-21, and destroyed him within Zone-21.
Then, tonight I encountered a Humpback freighter called zonertrader sporting a pair of Flamecurse Rheinland Military guns. When I stopped him to have him remove the guns, he attempted to flee with his thrusters, a futile maneuver. After repeated warnings to cut engines, I spaced him.
Later, I teamed up with Lieutenant (JG) Rohj Teerin for a short and relatively uneventful patrol after we escorted the Sierra Nevada and a DSE vessel in a resupply mission. However, Teerin ran into a Rogue Barghest, Bryce.Spencer, near West Point. The Rogue was quite a coward, fleeing the area at the sight of us. He fled well above the system plane, with us in pursuit. We finally caught him attempting to take a trade lane after a merry chase. The battle should have ended there, as the Rogue was clearly outmatched, but a pair of secondary fleet gunboats showed up at the wrong moment and distracted us, which allowed the Rogue to escape via lane in the momentary confusion.

Port.Franc.Gallia
Friday, while on patrol, I encountered a Gallic Brigand in the Badlands. The vessel was a Gallic Liner, and he was hauling close to 4,000 slaves. Upon ordering him to leave the badlands, drop his cargo, and be escorted out of Liberty Space, he opened fire. Due to his ship's firepower, I could not destroy his vessel alone. I called for help, and proceeded to follow him towards Buffalo Base.
When help arrived, we destroyed his vessel and picked up as much of the slaves as we could. At this time, a handful of pirates showed up, and we fell back through New York's internal Jump Hole. On the other side, we were reinforced by more Liberty Forces and some Mandolorians. After a while, we drove off the pirates. Cargo scan,ID scan, and destruction.
[LN]-LLS-White.Mage
Yesterday, with the support of Commander Clark, I was able to purchase an armor upgrade for the White Mage. Three times its original strength, the engineers say. Anyway, it's fully refitted now.
Mezantrop
Much later in the day, a pair of bounty hunters at West Point infromed me of a Rogue Gunboat pirating in California, along the lane to Mojave (where else?). Their names were Tristan.Issenia, a gunboat, and Jacklyn.Issenia, a fighter. When we arrived, we proceeded to attack Mezantrop, the Rogue Gunboat. It did not fight back much, but instead ran towards Alcatraz (again, what's new?). However, we were able to destroy the vessel before it could get close to the station. ID scan and kill cam.
spray
Nearly ten minutes later, while escorting Polstari in the Sierra Nevada and a DSE vessel, we encountered 'spray'. Captain Polstari claimed that this vessel owed him a fine from a previous occasion, but the vessel was able to flee once more. Conversationlog.
