Liberty can be killed at the cost of their economy if the powers of Ageira, DSE, Synth foods were to be reduced. Which isn't that hard (all 3 of those are dependent on foreign economies). Why do you think liberty companies are still trying to keep access to their rheinland markets?
this 'make gallia learn all techs that are nomad based without any nomad background in gallia' can easily screw over liberty (which learned those techs through a nomad vault.) Here you go Rheinland and kusari, tech to make your own gates, lanes and how to uphold it. Or better yet, lets have gallian companies do all that for you (which sucks for those 2 houses obviously) which helps gallia. Infact thats something that might just happen in the future of this timeline
Meanwhile Bretonia is paying someone to keep the war going, it aint kusari, it aint rheinland, it aint gallia, they aren't paying for it themselves anymore so its gotta be liberty. Sound familiar?
Quote:Aftermath
As was predicted, the war with the GMG left Rheinland with little to pick up. A public investigation has proven Daumann's involvement in starting the Eighty Years War, which made the government immediately cancel its shipbuilding contracts with the corporation. Kruger Minerals was left reeling, incurring both a massive loss on a failed enterprise, and being boxed in by its rivals. Rheinland itself was forced into a shameful peace treaty, key points of which prohibited any Rheinland armed forces or Kruger employed ships to enter Sigma-13 at all. The fleet was destroyed, and the years of war-time economy and cutting costs have left the industry on the verge of complete bankruptcy. Dissent was forming in the larger cities of Planet New Berlin and Hamburg. The standing heads of state quickly realised the implications the war has left on the economy, and began desperately searching for help. In 672 A.S. Liberty agrees to bail Rheinland out by providing a long term, low interest loan. This same year the market in Rheinland crashes completely as it's currency suffers catastrophic devaluation. With smaller companies and corporations alike declaring bankruptcy almost over night, and the mining industry attempting to survive by choking it's workers out of their money, the long expected revolution finally came.
And bretonia thinks liberty is their ally, hah intrests mate, hidden intrests
People think military power is key, honestly, it isnt. Example are easily: Soviet union (died due to lack of economic power) China (a powerhouse and untouchable because of its economy) Rheinland (which died due to lack of H-fuel and a guerilla war that ended too costly) etc etc can bring up a couple of more examples but those are the easiest to bring up.
Why not give awesome military-oriented trade routes between Bretonia and Liberty? That would benefit the war effort too, and not require fancy techmixing. In-RP it would work better too, since as Trail says, not all wars are won with guns.

Light Arms and Military Vehicles have good buy-points in Liberty, as well as the Marines to use them being cheapish from West Point.
Possibly more space-oriented ones would be a nice RP route to do.

Yes, I'm doing the best I can to make Bretonia lose.
Doesn't mean that they'll just roll over and die. Like it or not, people enjoy playing Bretonian characters. At least make it fun for them while the ship sinks.
