Lady Justice is depicted with a set of scales typically suspended from her right hand, upon which she measures the strengths of a case's support and opposition. She carries a double-edged sword in her left hand, symbolizing the power of Reason and Justice, which may be wielded either for or against any party. The blindfold represents objectivity, in that justice is or should be meted out objectively, without fear or favor, regardless of identity, money, power, or weakness; blind justice and impartial.
The Judicial Order serve Lady Justice. We are the sword of her strong right arm and our ultimate goal is to have her stand on every world ensuring pauper and king will be treated fairly at all times and in all things'¦'¦We are the Judges.
In the aftermath of the first Nomad war the Sirius cluster had become Balkanized worse than it ever had before. Instead of one great power fighting the Nomad incursion, or even the four great houses standing together, now there were dozens of tiny states fighting each other, the Nomads, the four houses, and anything and everyone. The economy sank as inter-space transports and traders were routinely attacked, captured or destroyed by tiny powers seeking to increase their resources. Only strongly escorted convoys could get through, robbing military resources needed for Cluster defense. Wars erupted between the great houses showing no end in sight as their fleets battle year after year, and the people die. Many leaders of the major and minor powers would not risk cooperate and potential losing face. Even those wishing for peace could dare not seek it to prevent appearing weak or vulnerable to attack.
It was evident that something was needed to be done.
Out of this chaos on a small number of worlds there evolved the Judges. They were men and women tired of war and devoted to peace. Over the years they gathered in Coronado and built a great station in secret called Tannhauser Gate. People of peace are generally people of science and at their base they developed the following ships:
Judicial Pocket Battleship/Magistrate class (design under development)
Judicial Cruiser/ Litigation class (design under development)
Judicial Gunboat/Conviction class (design under development)
Judicial Bomber/Verdict class (design under development)
Judicial VHF/Bailiff class (design under development)
Judicial HF/Plaintiff class (design under development)
Judicial LF/Felony (design under development)
for use by the Judges in the completion of their mission. The resource rich debris clouds in the Coronado system allowed the construction of these ships
They sought others of like mind in Liberty space and have slowly forged the group that are now the Judges. They began for the first time, the novel concept of actually training themselves for the task ahead. They were Judges in the classic sense since they are trained in law. They are also trained in combat, from basic flight maneuver to advanced group tactics. Training is hard and the loss rate is high, but those who completed training are highly capable combat pilots and more importantly, a competent Judge. It is a dangerous and risky thing to place all that authority in one person, but these are dangerous and risky times. The Judges try to speak to the various states in Sirius to negotiate free passage and docking privilege within their borders. In return the Judges respect the laws of that state and bring order and justice as allowed by that state and our mission statement. Judges are always available to act as mediators in peace talks between any two or more powers at any time.

OOC description of activities:
We mainly operate out of Newark in the Manhattan system of Liberty space as that is the area of highest population density which helps with our recruitment. We have existed since January 2012 on this server and currently have twelve members (including cadets). Because we do train and train hard, our group is remarkably focused and capable. We are neutral and while not yet fully trusted by many, we are at least known to many groups and have treaties or more often 'understandings' with Liberty Navy, Hells Legion through the NTZ treaty, Colonials, NTZ and the Kusari Chogun to provide training for the Chogun's pilots. We seek to enlarge this group of 'understandings' with many more Cluster groups in the years ahead. We are at war with no one and wish to continue that. We are Peacekeepers.
From what I've seen when I've been in New york with my Bounty hunter I've only really seen you lot AFK on top of Newark Station. Hell when there was battle with the a few pirates deciding to try and take over Manhattern you lot just sat there and watched or AFK I don't really see you move from the top of newark at all. I aslo haven't seen much Forum Presence from you guys either.
By the way this is my veiw on you lot don't get downed by this, you've still got many people looking at you.
Kudos to you lot for trying though.

I only have seen such before as well. You say you operate out of Newark to recruit and get what's going on. But apart from AFKing, as already mentioned, you don't RP much with others. And ye...when there was a battle around Manhattan, and even a [LN] member asked you to join the lawful side for credits, you said you are "civillians". *Shrugs*
Dunno...just seems a bit odd for me. I see you in the TS3 channels, you probably talk there. But you should also RP if you want to make anything valid of this here.
I may have ninja-d Tobi on Skype, but he got here before me...
All I've seen is a few that sit around Newark, sometimes moving nearer to Manhattan. There was also that request to get a Knighthood from Queen Carina on the forums, but no other Forum RP from what I've seen.
To that, I provide this.

You must have cleared the clouds much better than the Junkers and ALG have been able to do over hundreds of years, since there's never been any scrap that I've seen.

I do not believe the mod has a need for "Freelancers with capital ships" factions around the place.

I assume that Liberty Navy is true, although likely in-game as I can't see anything specific on the forums. Regarding the Colonials, I definitely haven't heard of anything about that. Vigilantes building secret bases in our home system so that they can build Battleships, without permission doesn't seem conducive to continued good relations though.

HAHHAHAHAA :D
Sorry miranda, couldn't leave to respond to you. but you are right. As long as a faction request is made there has to been prior ingame events with this faction (tagged vessels) allready. Also some RP posts would be nice as i see now the Judge asking has just 20 posts. Ok im not someone who is lots on the forums too. (ok lately more) but as faction its really needed.
I know there is an X hours you need to get as a faction to stay alive. but sitting there is not the answer. maybe you can request for Parking Blokes faster then as Judge it seems. (i would watch the cops. as if you are double parked maybe they fine you!)

You've not complied with a good deal of the rules for creating an official faction. The one that sticks out the most is that you've not specified what ID you are using.
Take a gander at some of the requests that have been approved and others that are under review for an idea of what the admins are looking for in an app.
