Deciding which ship

The best ship to explore with is a light fighter. Might not make sense in RP, but when you enter systems like Iota, you will get the idea why.

So if I buy an Order cruiser... and a Zoner ID I will just get shot at a lot, no sanction right? Cause that sounds kind of fun at the same time..

You wouldnt be able to dock anywhere or face sanctions (Zoner ID)... but yeah.

Zoner ID cant land caps ANYWHERE in house space... :O

So... it would be a flying visit, not docking or refueling allowed..

Although you could RP with players to land and fill you up with bots/bats I suppose.
Still the getting shot at might stop this from working.

From the ID: "Cannot dock cruisers, battleships, or transports with more than 3,600 cargo within House Space, except Aomori Station, the Battleship Hood and Zoner bases."

Get a gunboat if you want to fight, or a freighter if you want to avoid fighting

I've been thinking about that question a few days already, when I've been looking for a new ship for my Freelancer (Lee). First I had tested all the LF's which looked good for me. But in the end, I wanted something heavier, like a yacht. But it should have the agility of a gunboat at least. So I had the choice between a KusEx and Conference. But finally I bought a Hathor because I just love the design and the many lights it has. And the stats are awesome aswell. And 75% nerv is fair enough.

I'm currently RP'ing the construction of it here #14-17
