Deliting AI altogether would solve all of the problems or making the ID not aggressive again.
Now it is shoot anything unlawful in systems without jumpgate that makes no sense.
I guess I would buy cruiser then it sound like fun to shoot stuff without any reason to do so.

Dont delete AIs. I love em. We have remains of a Phantoms not touched, why delete AIs? they more active
but I agree that new ID is way to awful. people just using it to pewpew Corsairs most of times. while Corsairs could launch an attack to next system and purify all Gammu. people just silly when it comes to ID rules

What AI got, isn't fighter guns, it got something way stronger than any normal fighter gun.

AI Drone Can:

Sustain fire for 22.98850575 seconds straight by firing all of it's guns straight ahead

During that time it delivers:
-325,517.2414 Hull Damage
-162,758.6207 Shield Damage

When thrusting AI drone can get to a range, when firing at Cruisers/Gunboats, of approximately 1000m ahead with it's guns (assuming he's chasing).

Anther well made fun fact by Pancakes and Co.

EDIT: Actually I thought about it for a while, and AI drone is the ultimate ship to take on Gunboats. It's agile enough to get you in a position that you chase a gunboat while maintain a distance larger than 800m from it, making you out of it's range but not the other way.

Yes it is "statwise" but you ever tried it?!
And about gammu's purification...i openly invite them but raiding parties after raiding parties in gamma....if there is one Ai in gamma they will capspam and if there are more then 2 they will run
