Hm there is worse things then zombies like communism for example.

I would need to take my ready emergency backpack-my camping and survival gear my Gerber tools and my MRE cartoons-food for 2 months stored and prepared.I have a lot of them mixed my favorite menus- number 21 Tuna FTW! Sometimes when I am alone at home and lazy to buy food I eat it- I really like the taste of some menues and I take them for camping and long trails in Alps, my girl really hate them but she enjoys the hot backs to make coffee in the middle of nowhere without fire.
After taking the backpacks and my girl I would go to find guns-this one is easy I am shooting since I was 4, my first gun was brutal heavy TT, then Makarov, now I use Glock.
After that I would need to find safe transport- this is the hardest one- I must travel 1600 km to go back home where I would be safe. I guess I would use Danube- water is always safer in such situation.

My grandfather was 20 years in State Security - ДС/ГРУ retired with the rank of colonel, we had our own cute place in bunker near Sofia, the proud grandfather showed me around couple of times.He was part of V task force- military and mobilization awareness responsible for the food supply and logistical needs of the important people in the country in the case of Nuclear War.
It is nice that most of the normal people have no idea how paranoid could be the communists when they saw that they lost the cold war,living in situation of war ready awareness and intensively training their families for the Nuclear Apocalypse. The zombies are cake indeed.
