Yes, the mollies have a history of piracy and smuggling. Our hands have been forced by the oppression of Bretonia's beloved queen! We have been declared outlaws throughout Sirius by a corrupt empire! Why? We demanded our FREEDOM! All lawful houses in the galaxy shut thier doors to our ambassadors! We found friendship and strenth from only those who suffered similar plights of agression by a greater power! The brave Rogues and wise outcast! The galaxy calls our factions evil...yet remeber this people of Sirius. History is written by those who have hanged heroes! We will never deny the dark side of our history, any man or woman here knows that they MUST do what they must in order to survive. They must also do what they must to remain free! Remember this! Rember the histories from Eons ago, about great men such as Robin of Loxley, William Wallace and George Washington to name just a few! All of these men where called villians! Yet in victory the populace was shown the truth!

Now, we have some ignorant boys and girls from the Dublin system professing that they will 'free' Bretonia from Her Majesty's rule. It appears that they like to use historical and semi-historical examples to make their points known.
I shall counter each in turn, before countering their main arguments.
Firstly; Robin Hood, Robin of Locksley. This figure has been noted as almost entirely fictitious. However, I shall speak of the common legends. Robin Hood was loyal to the monarchy, unlike the Mollies, throughout his little periods of brigandry against the bullying Sheriff of Nottingham. You'll find that the Bretonian Police and Armed Forces operate rather liberal laws in comparison to our foreign counterparts when it comes to certain issues, such as the age-old touchy subject regarding posession of marijuana.
Secondly; William Wallace. I myself am of Scottish descent, and find the comparison rather disgusting. The Mollies rob and terrorise Bretonian civilians so that they can claim all the gold in Dublin, discovered by Her Majesty's representatives, as their own. They aren't fighting against a rapacious invader, but the discoverer of said land.
Also, regarding the Wallace, there are other issues. Scotland and England joined together back on Sol due to the Union of the Crowns, according to various independent history texts, hundreds of years after the Wallace's execution. What happened then was that the Scottish King, James, became the King of England when the Virgin Queen, Eliabeth I, died. This was peaceful with no aggression or invasions.
And finally; George Bloody Washington. If you like this greedy tea tax dodger so much, head on over to Liberty. We don't have laws against emmigration, you know? Oh, you did go to Liberty? And terrorised them? Who were you freeing there, kids?
This gentleman also failed in his little quest to 'free' the entirety of the North American continent, freeing only half, that which would become the United States of America. Those in what would later become Canada were very loyal.
An interesting point regarding Washington is this... his, and his troops', freedom was not won, as you have so eloquently put it. It was given. By the French.
This 'free' nation would then go on to invade Mexico, capturing large swathes of land and instituting slavery there, in spite of it being formerly illegal when in Mexican hands.
Now, to the present day, folks.
The Mollies. The Mollies are a dissident group of Gold miners that are, essentially, wanting to dodge taxes. Everyone has to pay taxes, ladies and gentlemen, they're just being greedy. My own wages get taxed, then I consider myself lucky that we get free healthcare, unlike the Zoners or Libertonians, whilst remaining freer than the Kusari or Rheinlanders, with the mistreatment of ladies in Kusari or harsh labour laws in Rheinland.
The fact that they managed to cause some hassle to patrol ships using purchased IMG equipment is of little consequence. Even Gaians can manage that, but they have little chance against the true might of the Bretonian fleet.
The facts of the matter is this, if you'll excuse my rhetoric. Bretonia is a very free nation, whilst managing to balance this freedom with laws to keep her people safe. The Mollies are terrorists, not the sort of people that can be considered responsible enough to run a country.

If I recall, the Mollies signed the agreement with the Outcasts for protection in exchange for gold. A people who would sacrifice a small amount of freedom to align with the lesser of two evils deserve their fate."
"I did not get this message through house firewalls to lecture you on what you do or do not deserve, only to offer a warning. The Outcast's stated goals are to enslave the entire Sirius Sector with their brithright drug, Cardimine. I don't think I need to repeat that statement again."
"How many Mollies have since taken Cardimine? One? Two? A dozen? Thousands? How long will it be before you start serving your new masters mining gold and trading every single chunk of mined ore .... for a drug? You valiantly throw yourselves against the bulwark that is the corrupt and power-hungry government of Bretonia. My suggestion is to think before making those soldiers die in vain."

I am proud of your accurate references to the acient histories. They are accurate. All of them. Your attempts to undermine the idealogies these great men represented was expected. Robin of Loxley, wether fictitious or not, stood against the tyranny and oppression. As did the other great men. The governments these men served is not the issue. Yes, Loxley fought to preserve the crown, and Washington and Wallace to overthrow it. But what you have missed is the CAUSE. When a government supports acts of violence and aggression towards its peoples, it is considered a tyranny. The Queen is guilty of this charge.
Now sir, let me give you a history lesson,
Sir Edmund Graves was the Queens own agent, and he is the begining of this great cause for revolution. The Queen supported of his acts of "legal" slavery in Dublin, regardless of the sensless and numerous deaths of her subjects. She supported them to increase the profits of Planet New London. She then used military force to attempt to quiet the growing dissent. More INNOCENT civilians died as a direct result of this action. We fought back, and with the support of our allies, we defeated you in battle. We stood against it and killed Sir Graves...your NOBLEman and his slavers. We forced you to abandon your own Battleship, the Hood, and flee the system in disgrace.
The Mollies stood tall against your TYRANNY. The same tyranny that is exercised throughout Bretonia. What rights do the people of planet leeds have? You force them to work in merciless conditions, just as we Mollies in Dublin suffered! The pollution from that planet has flooded the entire quadrant of space. Thousands die DAILY under your rule, yet NO effort is made to help the suffering of the people of Planet Leeds. Now, there appears to be some problems regarding military conduct in the Dublin system. Here are the facts: Sir Edmund used excessive and undiscriminating force, it is true. This was in response to riotous behaviour by miners, yet is still not excusable.
Also, I take exception to your insulting the system of nobility. A Knighthood, which I myself have earned, is not indicative of being a noble. I digress.
It is an affront to suggest that Her Majesty or her freely and fairly elected House of Commons is in favour of such actions. How would the average citizen in Dublin feel if I were to say that they were all thieving, murderous terrorists? I believe that it is more complex than that, I'm afraid.
Yes, we have some disparity and inequality in wealth in Bretonia, but we're better than the alternatives to be honest. We have the best education, thanks to Cambridge Research, plentiful food and better treatment of our citizens than other nations. We have much less organised crime than all of the other nations, due to having a more fair spread of wealth compared to Liberty and more liberal laws than Kusari and Rheinland.
Unlike the fatcats of Planet Houston in the Texas system, we Bretonians do not tolerate slavery. Do not pursue such petty lies and insults.
Yes, you are correct in that the people of Leeds aren't as healthy as those on London. Unfortunately, that is to be expected, one planet is industrially based, the other mostly agriculturally. In fact, lifespans are up, and a push is being made to clean up our industrial sectors. Some call this pollution the price of progress, but that would be me digressing again.
Now, if you ladies and gentlemen disagree with Her Majesty, a constitutional monarch who lets the House of Commons run the affairs of the nation, vote in a non-violent Member of Parliament for your constituency. Right now it looks like greed, much like any Corsair, to be honest.
