Whoever this guy is, he's been holding a grudge since February. Not a clue who, don't really care either. It's not a hacker, just a scriptkid who uses a number of compromised machines to flood the game server with traffic. We're still working on ways to deal with it (affordable hosting with DDOS protection isn't easy to find). There's other ways to deal with traffic flooding, which is what we're working on now.
Anyway, if we do find out who it is, it'll probably end with local law enforcement making an arrest or two, and local law enforcements IT department dismantling the botnet this kid is using. Not to mention a public shaming... but realistically, I don't see that happening any time soon.
Wide awake in a world that sleeps, enduring thoughts, enduring scenes. The knowledge of what is yet to come.
From a time when all seems lost, from a dead man to a world, without restraint, unafraid and free.
Mostly retired Discovery member. May still visit from time to time.
I don't get it. If you're gonna commit a crime, why not commit one that actually benefits you? I'd rather steal $20 and say "Haha, I am $20 richer! I can get drunk this weekend!" rather than "Haha, some people have to play a better game!"
