Rather than content myself with a pithy comment, I'll take my own advice and try to say something helpful.
If you find that you're spending too much time on leisure activities, I would contend that your work is not sufficiently interesting. If you'd rather be gaming than doing something productive, clearly you have not found a satisfying enough line of work. Perhaps a broadening of your horizons is in order.
When you DO find something you love to do, it's like nothing else in the world. For me, it's building anything at all. A shack in the backyard, a crystal radio, some random (and usually defective) contraption on the breadboard, a software project, or even just making a hilariously bad model in Blender. The act of creation or construction, for me, is more immersive than any game. If the work you do outside of leisure time doesn't do this for you, I can only offer my sympathies and recommend that you look around for something better.
The problem isn't that you're addicted to gaming. It's that your focus is too narrow to be addicted to anything else. Humans are creatures of fixation - we are at our best when we are completely focused. This cannot be achieved without true passion for the task before you.
It's simple but sage advice: If you're bored, try doing something new.

Same story here- but I found Sking 4 years ago and I am really happy with it, I also do some Ice Skating but I am total nub there compared with my GF.
Also nowadays there are many good technical outdoor wear like Gore-tex and several others that allow comfortable sports and sweating in very cold weather without any risks for your health and any discomfort.
Such stuff is not cheap if you want full equipment but it is worthy investment. I guess my autumn/winter sport outfits cost more then 800€ if I combine all but they allow me to use my bike at all kind of weather, same story for the ski and jogging.
It is worth trying.

My view, simply.
What if I get paid to game and prefer doing that over anything else?
You have an excuse at least because you're getting paid so it's worth dedicating a large proportion of your life to it. I'd still personally prefer to not be sweating it out in front of a computer or console all my life though. When I said addiction, I meant more in the way of stopping you from working, doing school/college work etc.

But it's also a hobby, because making money is my hobby.
I know that feel man. I noticed this happening 2 years ago, and I decided to join theater. Yea, I'm not good at it, and when I'm there I'd rather be home playing the same game for the 50th time, but it's something to distract me.
But now that the production is done and I'm graduating in a month, nothing to do but the same games. Over and over again.
