Kik, that was like 14 years ago... Bioware used to make good games too, used to...On the other hand you have Duke Forever and Colonial Marines, both of which terrifyingly bad for the time they were in development
The problem I see is if they try and outsource. For instance, if you do a search on Reddit, there was a employee of Gearbox who said that they outsourced Aliens to another company, since they focused their efforts solely on Borderlands 2. He said that Sega rushed the deadline, even when Gearbox said the game would ship in the crap state it was in, but apparently Sega didn't care. So, I can't blame Gearbox 100% considering they have to follow the orders of the higher ups as well.
Plus Borderlands IMO was a great game. Not AMAZING, but still a blast to play. So if they devote the attention that Homeworld deserves, or hell... outsource it to the original devs who are currently making the game Hardware, then I could see great potential. If they give it a second glance while devoting theirenergy to another Borderlands game, then I will shed tears. I hope for the best, but expect meh - worse.
