I'm rather intrigued that the Moonbeam is also going to be made into one of these LF/HF hybrids, since the Sunbeam (Gallic Civ HF) and the Moonbeam currently fit their roles decently well. Not that I'm complaining or anything; I'm simply curious as to what prompted this decision.
"You see what your knowledge tells you you're seeing. ... how, what you think the universe is, and how you react to that in everything you do, depends on what you know. And when that knowledge changes, for you, the universe changes. And that is as true for the whole of society as that is for the individual. We all are what we know, today. What we knew yesterday, was different; and so were we."

1: Set the gb pulse/cruiser pulse/ BS pulse in separate group. You can also include the razors and Motars there if you wish.
2: Adjust shield absorption as you see fit and balanced. My opinion is that cruiser and battleships should do the same DPS as heavy gb vs transports.

This is where you're wrong.
Honestly, I'm just gona wait for the update to come out now and see how things are No need in my critique for now I suppose, whether it be Gunboats or other.

Why did you turn this one now into a HF? And what will be the gun stats? Right now it is able to use 6 code guns, I assume it will loose that ability in .87?
Was result of a miscommunication and is being sorted. Don't worry about it, Cl10 slots stay.

Two reasons behind this: First, their size. Then, every faction in Gallia has access to their own light fighter. What most of their lines lacked was a VHF. Pushing the two civi ships up a step fixes both these issues.
I understand that gallic corps might be the ones directly affected by this change, but hopefully we'll get a model for a new Gallic civilian LF. Till then, they'll just have to come to agreements with the Royal Police if they really want LF access.

It's explained in Post #7. Basically, each fighter can only have one missile now, and that slot is shared between a missile and a class 9 gun (But in case of Gladiator-like ships, the slot is shared with one of the CD slots).
Ah the term sile is new to me is all, looking back I can see it being a shortening of the word 'missile' but when I looked it up I got a result along the lines of "to pour with rain"... said rain being missiles here I suppose. Thanks for clearing it up.

Would you change the transport shields to take less damage from capital type guns?
No. That will be handled with thrust speed instead.
Are you going to reduce cruiser's thruster speed? Because that thing touches way too more things than cruiser vs transport balance. Basically, same as "Remove a CD" approach.
Even returning "Battleships and cruisers cannot demand cargo or credits from transport ships" rule would be better. (note the wording, you can still demand them to leave system/stop attacking someone, etc)

Labraid Voidrunner, Nomads Light Fighter, now has the same hitpoints as other MR LFs.
Regen capacity also reduced, but rest of the stats are same as before.
Next on the list: Fighters
Could it have a 400 m/s cruise speed as well, then? The same as other MR LFs >.>
