okay that solves the problem too
when you said that you were giving it humpback stats I read that to mean it was staying entry-level cargo capacity
Humpback is buffed too, both cargo-wise and weapon-wise. It was mentioned a few posts earlier in the log.
Basically, all freighters now have Cl8 guns/Cl2 turrets, and every house freighter will have ~550 cargo. Civilian freighter is also set as the starter ship for 4.87, and the new restart templates I'm gettin ready for the initial release will be using civilian shuttle.

Sure, we can do that, and also while at it, we'll have to push the release date back a few more months.
Wat.
Good work hidding the eagle being slower than wraith part btw.
I still think the civ line lacks a decent light AND not oversized VHF.
Or let me put it this way:
It never made much sense to me, why IMG got a shipline consisting of moslty heavy and slower ships, while these are particular useless, when it comes to fighting in asteroid fields - iRP as ooRP. When we got massdriver onto making "a new line for IMG", which is now becoming the replacement for the RT and the Waran (what happens to the LF?), I was hoping that we get those replacements and they'd fit their roles a bit better. Sure, they were still quite big, but as he said, that was just a question of resizing before implementing. It still makes me very sad to see that line go in as a replacement for the RT and Waran. It'd have been prefered if it had become the IMG's line, while the current IMG-shipline had gone in as a replacement for the RT and Waran and such. Anyway, the main problem is the lack of a decently smaller and light VHF. Not another slow and bigger, medium VHF, which will probably end up being below-average, just like the RT is at the moment.
Besides that, as I said, it would make much more sense if the IMG finally got ships that fit their roles better, I'm talking about the fighters, bomber and battlecruiser - and looking at the "terrain" IMG fights in - and I don't see why IMG would create such ships around there. Just something I'd like people to consider...it just seems that it's always ignored. Especially now that the line we asked for from a modelcreator is being used for something else.
First off, the models were specifically submitted by the modeler as Raven's Talon and Waran replacements, and the LF was never submitted. Unless the IMG had paid the modeler for those two ships, the modeler is the one who calls which ships the new models will be replacing.
As for the Lhotse, it was subpar to a majority of the VHFs in 4.86 due to its messed up stats. Now that it's a proper 12k fighter, it's gonna perform much better than it used to. On top of that, performance of heavier ships is often matter of pilot's taste/style and the right numbering in stats. Look at the Templar for example - inarguably one of the top 10 fighters in the mod, despite being the slowest VHF out there, and still, people who know how to handle slow ships can turn that thing into a scary tank, while people who're too used to fast ships often find themselves soaking up all the hits, so just because a ship is not tiny and fast, doesn't essentially mean it's a bad ship.
As for the light civi VHF, Jinx has already submitted a new model for the Virage which will be implemented in one of the early updates, and another one of the Civilian HF/VHFs will most probably be rebalanced as an alternative to Eagle, so that problem too is already taken care of.
