It is SO atmospheric, if you do a rp conversation to constantly stay on thrust while moving the mouse, instead of just typing and just playing.

About cloak & energy drain: If you restrict the energy usage of a cloaked ship like that, cloaks lose their offensive capabilities on bigger ships (assuming this suggestions goes for all cloaks), making them a run-away tool, in essence, which is not their entire purpose, imo.
I have not had any bad expiriences with cloaks within the RP environment, though, possibly it's just my lack of activity.

I do not have a problem with, nor proof on Nomads, neither indies nor Khara.
I have discussed indefinite cloaks with Hasteric and other Khara players and they have made their own rules in order to make sure that their toys don't get taken away/nerfed (like not doing engagement messages while cloaked, etc). I respect that and it seems to work.
Wilde however seem to have created quite a few of these situations. I know two. Got to ask around to the players who reported them to me and see what kind of evidence they took. From what I remember, it was not "sanction material", though, as minimal rp was given in the cases I know. Still doesn't make it cool, still doesn't make them deserve toys to annoy people.
I'll post things to you once I see it myself and have the right screens, though. Might just need some digging.
I think some members already stated what's the real issue around here.
No one likes to lose, and raging for most common people is the way to go.
Now, correct me if i am worng, but, how do you want to communicate with an Alien species or be warn about a pew?
And besides, whenever you meet NPC Nomads you never heard them saying anything, did you?
Seems quite simple the explanation, doesn't?

Only a wild guess here, but i think Jansen didin't sanctioned you without discussing the case with other Admins. So pointing fingers at one Admin is just dumb and totally wrong.
