If I manage to successfully log in I generally manage to look at a couple of pages before I get the above message again. Even if I re-fresh the page I still get the message.
What, if anything, do I need to do to resolve this.
Thanks in advance.
'I would like to be half as clever as some people like to believe they are' Life is full of disappointments, it is how we handle them that helps to define us, as a person
I've noticed a funny problem:
People from the UK-area seem to be experiencing problems. I've tried other UK wi-fi's, UK mobile internet and talked to other people from the UK and it seems like they can't access the forums properly. Whereas people in America are mostly experiencing little problems.
im from the UK and I keep getting http 403 forbidden error, yet sometimes manage to get on, as I type this I basically got lucky, im glad its not my laptop having trouble that's for sure, ive just had my main computer decide to blow up on me a few months back, simply cannot afford any more technical trouble
hope there is a solution to this , somewhere lol

We accidentally spilled some beer on the forums machine the other day and it went all sorts of drunk. Thankfully, Cannon showed up to save the day as usual. The 403 error is to be expected in cases like this, mainly due to Cloudflare protection installed on forums. It should normally go away after a couple of days at most, but if it's bugging you too much, try cleaning out your browser cache, that sometimes helps.
You must be careless with your beer, 'cos it's happening again. From my ISP through the UK I get 403 Forbidden error for last 5 hours or so, it happened yesterday as well. Through a proxy server in Venezuela I get a 'Content Encoding Error', but through a proxy server in the USA it works.... I can have it working through a VM via a proxy server at the same time it is failing through the host machine without a proxy.... and this is just trying to call up the main webpage, not logging in. Clearing the cache doesn't make a difference, it appears to be where you are coming into your servers from.
Just as an additional, if I take out the USA proxy and refresh the page I get 403 Forbidden error, put the proxy back in and refresh and we're good to go. It appears to me that someone is blocking something in the big wide world of the web.
Or should that be 'causing a blockage' in the big wide world of the web?
