Diomand and Niobum(not sure if i spell right..) which is normal goods and ship building material..
and it just normal business..trading between 2 houses is good for both..good for their economic..
(PS:my trader has no tag, with trader ID, my trader don't belong to any faction and don't side with any faction)
What I'm getting from this is that we need to reform from the generic unlawful ID. Regardless of specific point of view here, methinks we all agree the ID needs clarifying. If you haven't already, peruse the thread Unselie linked on page 1(2?). I'll be bumping it within the hour unless anyone tells me not to.

While from an economic standpoint, cooperation between markets is a good thing for both, from the people's view, that outsourcing is not good for the local labor. Ergo, even though interaction between markets is likely to increase both markets, both markets will probably outsource its production, leading to lost jobs. Now, these people will probably get new jobs, and those jobs may be better jobs, because the interaction would have strengthened the market, and encouraged the industry there....but the people had jobs already. They are reasonably comfortable in those jobs, and don't particularly want new ones. They definitely don't want to loose the jobs they have now...if they get new jobs, they want to transfer smoothly, and people don't transfer smoothly. A massive outsource of a market means millions of people out of work, forced into unemployment, struggling to get by....and that is something to fight against. If the status quo is maintained, people will never face that hardship, which is the basis of the isolationist movements: Things are good, and even though they could be better, they're fine now...mess with things, it could be very bad.
Edit:

Why? Those commercial targets are siphoning domestic money into foreign banks.
I could list historical examples ad infinitum. To begin: English attacks on Spanish galleons in the 1600s. Boston Tea Party. Protective tarrifs. etc...
Just to add on, since i am in FA now, and reading rumors on kagoshima i found out next info. Farmers is not exactly as in "men who work on fields" but whole kyushu production, that included consumer goods, food and water, is destroyed by influence of other house shipping companies. There fore they made an lawful by their standards company to erradicate profit of outsider company.
Idea is not asking for credits, because filthy outsider money made on honest kusari nation has no value, but to demand for dropping the cargo, and then to destroy cargo in front traders eyes. Is that cargo synth paste, silver, hookers, bananas, niobium or robotic chipmunks makes no difference.
(Really in real life, my country has same problem, we are being economically destroyed by cheap import goods, while we have capacity to produce it ourselves, pirates and thieves on goverment wouldnt have quick profit of that)

Wow, that sounds clever...

Were those the English pirates working for the queen, though? Sounds a lot like current situation in Kusari.:)
Not enforcing KNF's roleplay here as it has been suggested. Everyone has its own style and I respect that
But to answer the reply... I am not an economician, but I believe that:
1. Foreign traders are taxed customs to make them less competetive.
2. Profit made by foreign corporations is taxed by the goverment according to value-added tax in the country.
In both of these cases the goverment has some use from foreign corporations as they get their share of profits from them.
Does that not make foreign corporations of somewhat necesarry evil? Local corporation may not always have the stuff to start some kind of activity, therefore investisment comes from foreign countries.
Also if pirates were to roam freely then no one would trade at all. Synth Foods may be forced out, but other corporation may withdraw too, because security becomes too expensive to be worth taking their goods. And if that would happen Kusari could not important foreign goods, which are needed to support its ever increasing factories, economy and even built millitary vessels. In this case the pirates may even take over the country.

2 opportunities: Traders have to live with or have to choose another route.
And citizens of Kyushu already suffocate in diamonds. Same for NT.

Truf. Especially the 'suffocate in diamonds' bit. And let's hold off on furthering this discussion until the resident FA among us gets back in a few hours.

As I said Im no economist. What do you think?
Does the Kusari government Tax businesses? That's an assumption made based on current nations...they could fund themselves very well through nationalized business instead. And again, you're assuming that the Emperor wants foreign trade...If samura has its hooks into him, it is quite possible that he's convinced they are not good for his domain. And Kusari has something that guarantees the rest of sirius will trade with them, if only at the borders: H-Fuel.
So, to model Kusari off of the Middle kingdom theme: Kusari Exports Hfuel, at prices that swell its coffers to an extent that means it can buy whatever it wants, and keeps its borders strong...All its trade happens in the border stations, and foreigners are invited to those, only if the empire wants something.
