Good for you.. As I posted it from my point of view, its obviously MY opinion, Edited: Nope..

Yes there is.. But as I made the post, obviously I was voicing MY opinion, Id have thought that would be obvious... but just for you I added IMO to first post so you will not be hoodwinked or mislead into thinking all my posts are facts...

Edited: Nope.. not worth it... "Sandwich rule"

Ah, slippery slope arguements. Obviously since a ragtag group of wanderers and nomadic pilots are being brought down in line with logic and reasoning, giant, house-funded navies are obviously going to get the same treatment.
Oh wait, they are within logic and reason. Zoners don't have multi-trillion credit Mega-Corporations. They don't have a dozen planets colonized, developed, and manufacturing materials and raw goods. They don't have the population, and they most of all don't have the funding.
Hand to your heart! Whats your friggin problem for indi players flying battleships? AND I' mean, whats your real problem here?
Its been discussed in other threats quite often.
I'd appreciate, if you could state some real reasons to restrict battleships.
But please do not come with the "roleplay" statment". We have regulations, which should force even indi player to do some roleplay, if they don't, just report them.
I would actually agree the idea of officials having CAU 8, it would at least differ the officials from indies. Or make Cau 8 a PoB content, i mean why wouldnt bases be able to produce stronger armor? ))))

I would agree about PoB's being able to produce more than just Docks, Scanners, Jumps, and Cloaks...but you're suggesting opposite things. CAU8 for officials means that only officials (and friends) have access to them. Making them PoB produced means that anyone could have access to them. Can't really have it both ways.
Since some of you, including thyr - raised a good point, Id like to hear an explaination about rheinland. As you know, they don't have a fleet anymore ( inrp obviously ) - perhaps 2/3, but then theres probably 30/40 players with those battleships. Could someone please point out, why the double standards when it comes to zonnies?
You can hardly compare a house that's been involved into war ever since basically, which still has a standing military-grade-gear industry and R/D-departments solely run to improve the current standards to todays level, not to speak of government backing... with the Zoners.
One is a house, a nation (though this also accounts for most semi-house-like factions too), the other is a group of individuals that came together.

Yet the Zoners also operate as micro-houses, comparable to the VR, who are also able to field battleships (this is not a pot-shot at Kaz).
People also forget the existence of Gran Canaria and Lanzarote, which are zoner terrestrial planets, Liviada, and a vast web of stellar infrastructure around the Sirian border and edge worlds.
