I was a little surprised that the search engine didn't turn anything up when I looked for an ESO thread!
So let's talk about it!
I really quite enjoy it so far. I mean, it plays like an MMO, but what can you expect? I was pleasantly surprised at how well they maintained the TES feel to the game; especially with regards to the first-person view and the voiced dialog of NPCs.
Also, if anybody is interested, I have two beta keys for this weekend (February 28 - March 1, I think). For the record, I don't get anything special for giving them out, Bethesda is just doing stress-tests and told me to invite some friends.
PM me if you're interested in a key! Post if you'd like to discuss!
Elder scrolls in general and Skyrim and EOS are epic, very fun to play, i am a fan of Wlder scrolls been watching EOS trailes and stuff, seems nice but sadly i cant pay for it, political reasons, no pay options for my country.
I've been in the prrvious stress test. Didn't have too much time to play though. Decent MMO, poor ES from what i've seen. I did not reach pvp levels though.
I have yet to see anything that sets it apart from other MMO's beyond The Elder Scrolls setting, or even warrants the sub fee. It might have looked good on paper, but until it actually starts amazing people, it'll be on the road to F2P in about 6 months. Co-op Skyrim would have been a better idea, scale the enemies to be brutal and relentless when a second person joins and tailor the quests to involve both people like Dead Space did and it would have been genius.
This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.
My exp on the game was great. I really love TES series and respect the bethesda studious. I bought the Skyrim at New Year sale for a good price and play it nonstop when I can.
But the payment for online game... For Russia is 66$ to buy a game and pay up 12$ more each month. Sorry, I dont think so.
It's not violating our NDA to invite people or to take pictures of what's happening this weekend, according to the e-mail we've received.
I like playing RPG's. The two times I've been able to play a bit - since I don't have a full 48 hours to sit down and play, I've only gotten about 10 hours total in on the Beta so far - this didn't feel like an RPG to me.

I guess, the people expected an another Elder Scrolls instead a MMORPG...
For me, the game is fine and not so boring like the rest of the Online Role Play Games.
Decent story, plus a lot of interesting quest and still an interactive environment.
Plus, you exploration gives you experience and get some rare items or stuff.
The only Q_Q, are the bugs....I know it is beta, but still some of them are fatal and don't let you end a quest.
