It may be a problem with the less well supplied PoBs. But this is exactly why the base I run has 3-4 days worth of supplies on it at all times - so I can keep calm and carry on for a few days without panicking.

What if the server is down for a week cuz everyone is waiting for Cannon?
To some this will be disappointing news, to others it will be good news.
A Core 1 Base with 8,000,000 health degrading, from wear and tear, at 600 damage per minute will take approx 9.26 days to drop to 0% health.
A Core 4 Base with 24,000,000 health degrading, from wear and tear, at 600 damage per minute will take approx 27.77 days to drop to 0% health.
Now if the Server is actually down and the Game not running then the Bases will not, supposedly, take any damage.
Most, if not all, of the Bases on the Player Base Status Page that show as not being at 100% had already taken damage before this problem, with the Server, occurred.

Honestly. I just looked at base status. And there are crapload of stations. If anyone wants big toys, it would be better for server and community to just buy it second-handed. This makes less bases to eat server resources, makes more profit-oriented trading that causes proper traffic, that attracts more pirates which makes lawfuls log.
Look at NY. It has 4 stations. 4 damn stations. And the purpose of 3 of them is to manufacture toys. Why can't 1 be dedicated to do that, so that the other wouldn't eat server resources?

and im saying making PoBs for RP proposes is good for the server.
so if more of those come up, then its pretty nice dont you think?
There is another slight problem in that some Bases may have to replace some of their Crew if they start to run out of Food, Oxygen or Water.
But those that have Bases I am sure can afford, easily, to replace the lost crew.
