Yes. Discovery is all about logging ships that counter your opponent. If they log in something new, simply log twice their number to compensate.
That's indeed a solution. If you play to exclusively to win. If you don't give a damn about the other side's enjoyment.
However, since Discovery has no matchmaking whatsoever, if we want fights that both sides can win (which I think we can all agree are the most enjoyable fights), we have to do our own matchmaking.

If you want fair fights, do that. If there happens to be somebody that decides that he wants to be fed or that he feeds somebody else, deal with it and move on.
That is true, Haste. So may I note that dying is not fun for me as a side? I've always thought that I am good at PvP in the sense that I perhaps may not be even near the skill to take out someone, who is good at it, but I can sure as hell make them work quite hard if they want to turn me into a blue.

Rule Wrote:3.1 An attack is any hostile action that drains shields to less than 50%. Saying "Engaging" is not sufficient and aggressors are not allowed to destroy a ship before allowing sufficient time to respond. If a player is attacked he has the right to defend himself regardless of who is attacking. Trading nanobots, shieldbatteries or other ammo and equipment during a fight is also considered taking an active role in the engagement.
its not only about loosing or wining, its also about giving some respect to the other side.
Nowadays reasoning of ganks being valid, botsharing till the eternity welcomed is very demotivational.
Snub-to-snub feeding is quite acceptable, in my opinion. Same with cap-to-cap feeding.
For repair ships I'd say it is acceptable too, since the ship has no other role to serve in a fight.
I'd personally not do cap-to-snub feeding, but I can see why people would do it since it is just another thing the game allows us to do.
If you think that those things must not happen, you can propose a new rule to the admins or you could do it in a similar fashion to NT or try to adjust bots/bats repair amount and their quantity per ship to make every single one much more meaningful.
When two sides are fighting and one side has a cap or two, with the other side going with just snubs, then the side with the caps is nearly invincible if the cap botfeeds the snubs. This is practically applicable in many situations involving sides which don't/can't use a cap. Like when Xeons are fighting some LN snubs and LNS comes in delivering bots to everyone, and goes away like nothing ever happened.
This may not be against the rules, but hey, there is something called dignity and "fairness to an extent". While people can't complain much about ganking and stuff (it can be considered their problem to not work in a group and getting into a fight where they know they might be ganked), but botfeeding caps are just meh. People like those, have no respect whatsoever to their opponents and just play the game to destroy others fun.

Otherwise it just seems like yet another "How DARE you not die if you are worse than me at PVP???!"
I agree with spazzy here.
I actually used to have a different opinion, but that changed after I saw things from both sides.
When you put it into perspective I'd rather not lose a team mate over silly pixel honour or something. He's a teammate and the team has a responsibility to make sure that the team survives and if possible, wins. If I have an asset that I need to keep alive, I'll feed it.
