quite good. The only thing that bothers me are the bright green stuffs on the girl, I'd suggest you add a slight glowing effect to them. Slightly empty in the middle... maybe add something a bit "ghostly" in the middle? otherwise, very good.

I think it's a step backwards, quite bluntly. The original text looked better, as well as the background. The new image looks too bright and energetic to be mysterious and eerie. I don't think having multiple overlapping tribals looks too good. How 'bout a soft overlay of a Nomad fighter over the original image? Right in the big blank spot.
