hello tyro I think you got the wrong impression from peter since he is me and the harvesters know this i was busy halping a new person on a question concering his zoner rep when the harvester confronted me in manhatten, as well as sort of teasing the harvester about not knowing what the alpha code is. I hopefully cleared this problem up if you see me in game i can give you a fast rundown in game my ships are shane, timothy, peter .

mal i have an apology to make to you i just saw the dessie on the list for ships and bought it because i happen to like the ship, I'm also working on building up credits to replace it. To everyone else 15 is a very new character i've been playing it only 3 days for me and i'm still feeling my way around in it but a couple of points i would like to clear up, so here goes

1. Saw something like revenge yesterday which I didn't fancy... I pirated one Harvester that was hauling diamonds to New Tokyo. I was on my Blood Dragon and it was in Honshu. I told him he's supporting the Kusari regime this way and that he should not do it.. and pay a fee. After some more talking he started "harvesting" so he was destroyed.

Me playing the machine saw no advance in losing recources (paying you) when it was following program to build up money and i told you that twice, maybe i wasn't clear enough sorry

it is easy to take zoners as target, because of they like peace, they were neutral for others, they don't have many cap.ships

Your kidding me right. :lol: read the post about the zoner/harvester event I was there and we were lined up in cap ship to take on the harvesters, in fact people were getting turned away beacause it was to unfair for the harvesters. just from my personal experiences the zoners taz and the independents that are registerd with the council could probably take and hold the new york system easily and probably could hold all of liberty for quite awhile.

Ok, as has been stated repeatedly, the Harvesters are RP group. They are a recent addition that gives a new 'Flavor' to have to wipe out of your mouth.

Thats the point!

They aren't here to make friends, or tell you about themselves. They are trying to find what they need to Harvest and move on. They don't care about Kusari politics, or Blood Dragon desires to stop them. They will NOT drop cargo to a 'bio' that could be used to generate the fundamentals in building the reactor core for the next Harvester ship coming out of thier secret shipyards. Get over it. They don't fly a Trader ID, don't expect them to have cash or any desire to 'give you some' of ANYTHING they have. It would not be in RP for the MACHINE to drop cause you might destroy it. Sorry that 'Does not Compute.'

I am Harvester 12 and 13. Why? I am also TAZ their sworn enemy. I have been trying to keep that a secret, but I feel it necessary to say so. You people keep forgetting that we are GAMERS and RPers. We are here to RP, not PvP, but many times people think that becasue they get a ship that can shoot another beter they have the power to 'order people about' I don't get it. I don't care if I flew up on Malacalypse in my Miner, I would try to Harvest. If he was in his bober, I prolly wouldn't be successful, but my programming states it is so, so it is so.

Can your computer make you toast? No, but niether can your toaster send an email. Get it? It does what it was made to do, thats it. The ship isn't thinking, it is computing data and responding to the set parameters of the actions it has to choose from in its programing.

I joined the Harvesters for ONE reason, to supprt the RP and make it possible when we DO DO RP events that if there AREN"T enough for whichever side I can help make it balanced. I also fly indie Zoner chars and lead a Military group on contract with the Zoners TAZ to help if they need it.

Cid, my TAZ has the info all TAZ knows. He will prolly survive most encounters with Harveys.

Sven, Indie Zoner and leader of [V] Military forces would have as much luck as the rest of the world, as even tho the TAZ have more info, Cid has not deemed it 'necessary' for Sven to know more. So he is in the dark, JUST LIKE YOU THAT HAVEN'T BEEN INVITED OR SIMPLY AREN'T IN THE LOOP. Not everyone should have that knowledge. It takes the 'realism' out of the encounters.

My Harvester Chars well they have NO TAZ OR [V] INFORMATION, EXCEPT from the interactions and Harvesting that has been done and 'Uploaded to ALL Harvester Parts'

So as for the RP, its solid, the ideas are great, and can make or great fun and interactions, but NO you don't have to like it, you just have to do it.

You want to know more? Pay the TAZ or someone to 'forward' you some info. THAT would be some good RP too, and would make a lot more sense than coming here to complain you don't know about us. Its all ther, your character might have been sleeping during the times those reports have been made. You might even have been in cryo-sleep for a long journey, who knows. Don't whine, LEARN!!! Some people in bars sell '!' Hints, well find Zoners and ask to buy some of those '!' Hints from them, and that will make your actions HELP us in our RP rather than cause us arguements.

But hey, thats my opinion after reading 8 pages of this thread to have something valid to say. Hope it helps.

Although I've tried very hard to get you guys KOS listed in Liberty (since your rules state that you will give assistance and bots/batts to Corsairs), your RP is _excellent_. The idea is original, and it is performed excellently (at least by those Harvesters I've encountered)

Which would be metagaming by using information your character has no access to. Save trying to get the harvesters listed as KoS in liberty until you get a screenshot, and post it in the liberty lawfuls message dump, of the harvesters doing so in liberty/against liberty lawfuls.

Well, it would seem natural that if Zoners came under fire within House systems, they would request aid from the controlling Faction, rather than attempt their own defense.

And for those who seem to think Zoners could commandeer a system with our vast might.. possibly.. until you take into consideration that Zoners can't even reach a consensus on what day of the week it is.

I will say this.. no TAZ vessels will be requesting escort from a bloody Destroyer or Battlestar.. it just doesn't make a lot of sense. If we can't dissuade a Harvey with a couple of fighters/bombers, or a single gunship, then we should be running like the dickens. Thud, I haven't moved my Fearless out of Baffin in months, except to judge the Dung Sculpture contest, and to go check out the "Green Hell". (Goddess, was that a mistake..)

Rick and his "remote I/O's" are doing a good job. Politics around this bloody system change with every gust of stellar wind. And, that's half the fun, at least sombunall of the time.

Aside from the first "incident" I really like their RP.
Scornstar has done a good job of sticking to his story....(very impressed)
Only gripe so far...please no OORP chat while engaging enemy of any kind.
It has not happened lately which is good.

I think my best RP was one of their scanner ships in Newark where the Rak is stationed (he is a diplomat).

I think Harvester-01 came on scanner and stated...[\JG/] Detected...retrieving ship data.
and I advised him as such.
"You are a transport, I plan not to attack you.....better turn your self preservation bit switch to 1 and leave."

He complied. (Nice)

Ok, Mal we've lost the Zoner dessie.

We have gotten heat on two occations since the last post.

One was some one calling us another factions name saying all RP involved blasters basically, and another because we "double teamed him"

Now there are very good explainations for those.

The Harvester that was not talking and only shooting and dodgeing was because........

A- We were already under attack

B- If you attack on you attack all, we are a collective

C- He was recieveing messages from another Harvester

D- He was sending messages to another Harvester

E- He already knew who the hostiles were.

To the gentleman we "Gangshaged"

A- If you PM me I can tell you when and where you've done the same, it not a big deal so no need to be angry

B- Zoners and Harvesters are established enemies

C- How many Harvy heads adorn your wall?

D- We are depicting machines with no human sence of fairness, compassion, mercy,or honor.

If you attack or, are attacked by a Harvester exspect them to bring all the force needed and available to win.
It's nothing personal. In fact we are often overwhelmed and just deal with it. It's a game and nothing to get mad about. In fact some of my player on somedays are amazed how we get hunted in every system we enter and killed over and over and I dont get mad or report those that lose their cool and reengage or swear, or anything else. I try to calm folks and keep the admin desk clean.
