There's autoaim for snubs as well if you haven't noticed when you aim at crosshairs - and that usually ends up being the biggest obstacle for actually hitting your target.
In my experience Disco PVP is mostly about getting your ship into a favorable position where your opponent can't exploit just how terrible the Freelancer engine is by AWDS'ing and other such gimmicks, and accuracy hardly factors in in that perspective.

it is not.
The problem lies with how everybody who gets into PvP, happens to be good at PvP, thus presenting a highly intimidating obstacle for anybody who wants to join in. PvP Isn't difficult to learn, but difficult to get to the point where you can hold your own against most of the active PvPers alone.
It is more of a psychological problem and how the inherent system works, it is actually somewhat of a vicious cycle.
1) New guy dies in PvP fight against a good player.
2) New guy is intimidated by this and claims that PvP is not for him or that he is bad.
3) New guy sticks to trading/RP/anything but PvP and thus does not gain experience in it.
4) Good PvPers end up having only other good PvPers to fight where they mutually improve and get even better, presenting an even higher obstacle for new guys to overcome.
5) Repeat cycle.
Unfortunately, not many people have the motivation to actually say "One day, I'm going to be like him" when they get their arse handed to them by a good player. Those that do usually join the ranks of decent players fairly early and later perhaps become great at PvP as well.

The rest of us went through a long string of defeat upon defeat before improving.
I would like to play the nice guy and say that we should make PvP easier so it'll be less intimidating.
Another side of me tells me that it takes a lot of training to become a fighter pilot and not every fighter pilot becomes an ace and we should just ditch those dolts.
Whatever it is, when it comes to missiles, I still believe they deserve a nerfing.
hello
i haz idea
how about we leave everything as it is now and RP in an RP server while still having some PvP in the thing. As far as I know, not every single human in existence knows how to fly a Jet/Heli/Plane, or do they? Oh, I'm pretty sure they don't.
Also what Lyth said.
And, another thing actually. PvP in this game is hard for others, easy to others. How the hell am I supposed to move my fingers on Dem WASD keys and be godlike accurate when I'm fighting some pixel sized Libby, for example? Well, Omi can. Haste can do that too. Prolly a few others as well.
Main point is that this is nothing but some qq thread.
Get good, use CMs properly, or get lost. At least from the PvP master side, 'kay? 'Kay.
Don't be mad because you get blued and you see "(Missile/Torpedo)" at the end. Because then , noobs like me that don't know how to PvP may actually keep their chars' ships intact and walk away victorious. Oh, but wait. I've got spat on a few times because missiles. Why? Because people can't deal with the fact that they lost. qqing at its best.
Deal.
With.
It.
That's everything. On phone right now, I would really get a few memes to match with my words, but oh well.

Do you have anything to contribute with?
Seriously now. Flat-out getting rightclicked to death/rightclicking others to death is menial and honestly a pretty stupid way to "balance" and "equalize" PvP.
