I'll raise my hand to say it makes me unhappy, thus invalidating your statement.

Such Engirsh, much gramer. Wow.
The phrase "Several groups under the same faction" would be more correct than "An actual groups"

Exactly. Because Zoners are pretty much that, several groups with different local environment, neighbors, diplomacy, goals... under the same faction because... why exactly? That outsiders began calling them by the same name? Zoners? Because they decided to live far away from houses, on the edge of civilized space called... The Zone? Yea, of course a lot of cohesion in there...

I was being pedantic about grammar to be honest, and if you want to complain about Zoners by all means make a thread for it, this is a thread about the barge update, admittedly it was my mistake to mention anything about Zoners in any thread.

The same logic could be applied to: Red Hessians, Corsairs and the Bounty Hunters Guild yet no one is advocating that they be nerfed in this fashion.

Well, in a logical disco hardly any faction would have caps. I wouldn't have an issue with that.
However Zoners, compared to all those factions, don't deserve caps at all. Red Hessians, Corsairs and the Core all have logical reasons for wanting capital ships. Zoners do not.

Considering Zoners began as simply "people who don't want to live under House law" and somehow evolved into "master explorers and shipwrights" it doesn't seem that outlandish.
Slighty more on topic, if this is going to be civilian I assume we'll be seeing it in the hands of pirates as a poor man's cruiser, what exactly are we going to see in terms of turret arcs? (Ideally for the future model, not the old geb.)
Be an "eggshell with a sledge hammer" scenario if the ship is still working with Transport shields. Any decent bomber pilot should still be able to take it down.
